Understanding the FOF draft board better

If there is info on how to gauge these I haven't found...info/a direction point would be appreciated. For ex: what do "PSpec" and "Devl" mean? I am guessing that Devl means something about how far developed they are as a player, e.g. a Devl 100% means he has no room for improvement (not that I expect to ever see that)? Also what's better, blue or red? "Great" and "superior" are vague...

Yeah, developed percentage. PSPEC is position drill at the combine. Red is extremely good. Blue is good.

If you click on the combine columns it will sort players by their scores, which will also help you see the order of red/blue/black/green

Great, thx. Sounds like pspec is generally one of the more important things to take note of (beyond the obvious, like 40 dash for WRs etc)?

I read that in past versions combines scores were way more important than "the bars" but my experience has not held that out so far - both matter, but generally the bars have been a better indicator than combine, and on avg a player's ultimate grades tend to pan out about where the bars said they would. Anyone else got this, or does that not align w/what you've found?

Is this about FOF7, or FOF8? Given the forum it's in I assume FOF7.

No combine score is intrinsically the most important across all positions; they all have specific correlations. If you poke around a bit in the reference threads you'll find what combine scores correlate to what bars. Keep in mind FOF7 and FOF8 have different correlations. In FOF2k7, combine scores were very revealing, while they are far less reliable than bars in FOF7, which are themselves still unreliable.

FOF7. Thx. Interesting...I've found the bars to be (again generally speaking) pretty reliable, often with the combine number more or less reflecting them in fact (for ex. an OL with a weak strength bar rating shows a green score in weight lifting).
