Trouble keeping player activates
Sorry if this is a stupid noob Q but...
I go to the roster screen, deactivate a starter and activate a rookie. Then I go to the depth chart screen and add the newly activated player to the depth chart and hit confirm. Then when I hit simulate week it tells me I have an inactive player in my depth chart. When I go back to the depth chart, all the places I have placed him are blank. And in the roster screen he shows as inactive again. What am I missing? |

In the single player options screen, it sounds like you have "coaches reset depth charts each week" turned on, turn it off.

It could either be what was mentioned as above, or I had the same problem because I was activating a player without deactivating another. You can only have 46 player active

I'm having the same problem. I have the setting set to "no" for depth chart reset as well. It basically makes whoever it wants inactive and ignores my choices. I cant sim the week with the players I want it. Only when I click recommend for depth chart slots does it then make roster inactive/active changes and then sim the week. If anyone has found out a fix here please let me know.

I found a related thread with this happening in FOF7 and the fix was to turn off AI signing FA's automatically setting. I did that and no roster shuffle. Problem solved I guess.
