THANK GOD!!!!
Im in a stellar mood right now...i just checked over at hattrick to see the training updates, and my starting keeper poped to solid and my back-up to passable(off to the market he goes....theres goes my debt). Feeling lucky i went to the coach screen and hired a new guy and got solid!!...now i wait for the weekly youth pull to continue my luck...thank you for listening.

Samething happened to me blade6119. I now have a solid and a passable back-up.
The real money is training young keepers and making huge profits after they have been trained up. ![]()

What's going on? Just got my team and will be trying out Hattrick. I'll see if it's as good as everyone says.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. If i could go back and start again i'd train keepers. Its fast and you make a ton of money.

I don't think it's a cure all though as you basically have to buy 10 position players after a while as opposed to other options where you can train between 6-10 guys a week ensuring you have guys you can keep as starters and others to sell off (at a significantly lower rate than goalies of course) That's just my opinion though.

I've actually thought about this some: if I could go back and train keepers, would I? Maybe for a season, but I'd be a season behind where I was.
It would allow me to buy nicer trainees and some key position players, but I would be quite a bit behind the curve with my middies now- all of whom are solid and that's really the strength of my team. So is it really worth sacrificing my team strength to get better elsewhere? SI

i think training keepers just became a good option for me. I've got a half-assed trainee team setup. Hell most of my trainees are starters. And I'm in massive debt (330,000). So i figure with my solid youth squad i can pull a decent young keeper each week and train them. And when i've got more than two young kids i'll sell whoever will get my the most cash. Rinse and repeat

Dola.
Lost 1-0 in my first game but I'm hoping I can turn this team around. |

well, goal #1 should be to avoid relegation. Do everything you can to finish 4th. right now you're in 5th, but it's really a 3-way tie for 4th. |
