Here are the rankings as they stand after this week's league games. I have decided to make them official as of Monday. I might post an update later on in the week to compensate for teams who got a walkover in their league game.
I'll get to the rankings in a moment, for now, some explanations... - TW stands for "This Week" - LW stand for "Last Week" - The first set of numbers (to the left of the team names) represents the relative ranking of every team. A blank in either column means that team wasn't ranked that week. - The second set of numbers (to the right of the FOFC member name) represents the rankings points scored for the last two week. - The rankings points for a given week are calculated using a weighted moving average of that week's NSI points and the score of the previous two weeks' NSI points. - "NSI points" is the sum of all your position ratings from your game report, with midfield counting as triple its value - Ratings are scored with the base value set at disastrous = 1, wretched = 2, and so on. - If your team doesn't play its game because of a walkover, your rating for the game in question will be ignored in the weighted average and the remaining ratings will be used. - "exper" stands for the number of weeks of Hattrick experience the user has, that is the date of the day minus the date he got his team, divided by 7. Below, you will find a text formatted version of the rankings, but they are available on the web, GO TO THE OFFICIAL FOFC HATTRICK RANKINGS HOME ON THE WEB Also, if you want to see who has done particularly well (or bad) this week, there's a "tops" page, on which you can also see every team's game ratings for week 19.07. Someday, there will be a link straight from the rankings page, but for now, it available only from here: WEEK 19.07 IN A NUTSHELL That's about it for me, enjoy the rankings. As always, your comments are welcome and bragging is encouraged If you have any question about my very scientific methodology, feel free to ask ![]() FrogMan Code:

"Mooooooooovin' on up, to the top 20!" I don't count those 2 guys at the top just because they're ratings are more than double mine which I can't even fathom ![]() |

to make your life a little easier Frog you should probally do a roll call. I'd be willing to bet that at least 15-20 of those teams dont play anymore.
Just a thought. ohhh i almost forgot, johnnyveigns "Witches" are no longer in FOFC. he joined another federation.

woot- I am # 15, that is really good for my team...this is about as high as I ever expect to get, and a 55 NSI is probably the highest I will get for a while since I don't plan on upgrading my team very much (except for the player training) until the end of the season.
Again, thanks frogman for putting all this together it is really great. |

Yeah, great work FrogMan. Too bad I'm PIC-ing the last place team both last week and this next week...my ranking is going to plummet. Oh well, I know I'm a better team than that

Havok, you'd be surprised about the number of inactive teams. I know or suspect three (detoxrox, marmel, ColtCrazy) but to the bext of my knowledge, everybody else is still active. Gotta say we lost 4 users in the last week only. All teams that got replaced in Hattrick... About johnnyveigns, what's the deal with him? Did he simply decide he'd never post here again and he doesn't want to have anything to do with us anymore? He still has a FOFC username... I'll probably take him of the rankings next week... FM

Is it just me or does the FOFC Hattrick Poll not really begin until we get down to to DK & the Screamin' Seamen at #4..
No disrespect to the Billy, Apoc, & TP6, but it seems to be our first true FOFC "Member" isn't found until the 4th Spot in this week's (and recent weeks might I add) poll.. Another point is that at least DK and his High 60's/Low 70's Ratings at are least somewhat achiveable, not necessarily by my squad but definitely by other strong FOFC H-trick Franchises.. But when we start talking about triple-digit ratings and performances... Good Luck.. Again, no smack intended, I think this was just a bit of someone pointing out the obvious more than anything..

TP, I definitely was unaware of that, as I've rarely, if ever seen a post on any FOFC Board from him, and this is going back well over a year..
But then again, what does it really matter? Again, I think I was just pointing out a interesting development more than anything..

I know what you are saying, but I'd like to think of myself as an FOFC member. I post here regularly and I love the community here (better than the conferences by far).
I wouldn't mind if I weren't in the rankings, though. It seems to me if Apoc, Billy and I weren't included it would make for a more interesting competition. We just kind of got tossed in though... |

If I really cared about my ranking I would play my A-Team in league matches even when I have virtual walkovers. Having the 3 of you up at the top just provides another goal to shoot for.

I decided to include TP, apoc and Billy because I think they are part of the FOFC community. What's the big competition anyway? If you see your team ranked at #20 (picked a random number here) and you feel like that a few guys (say three of them
) are not real FOFC posters, then tell yourself, in your head, WOW I'M #17 WOOT!! It's not like we're getting more sponsor money because of the FOFC rankings. ![]() Heck, Billy even has a dynasty going on! Yes, people we saw as being there in the beginning ind of start at #4, so what? My team is currently liste #92 and that's mainly because I'm playing my scrubs with a PIC attitude and playing my starters in the FOFC cup. I know in my heart I probably should be listed at #50 or so, so what... Myles, I know you're not bitching and that's fine. I see what you're saying. FM

Hell...TP has already hit 184 posts...4.something daily average....crap...thats a lot higher average than me(granted i have more posts and been here longer)...i fully consider TP a member, and would like to thank him for the compliment.
I have always liked debating with TP...back in the U-20 nomination thread, meanstrosity and I basically took on the hattrick community(including TP)...out of all the psts responding to mine, his were the ones i wanted to read because i knew they would be insightful and have real reason. I will never consider Billy a member after he knocked me out of the cup...i was going to win that cup too...oh well...proud to be the only fof member to face a Major League squad(maybe lytic did...not sure)...at least i lost to class I do remember billy from the days of old...than he stopped for awhile like me...i just came back before he did..Apoc, i do not consider a member...i think hes here just to look around...he doesn't really contribute too much, just looking into one of the larger hattrick groups...the U20 vote showed a lot of people we are an important group...wait a sec...maybe thats why they are all here...voting be damned!!!! Glad to see you all, and glad to be in debt and have to sell of my best players...its allways fun to fall from top 20 to barely in top 40...so fun..

Awesome work as usual, Frogger. Much thanks.
![]() I dig having Billy, TP, Lytic and apoc here. I don't really aim to "compete" or chase them but it's nice to see "our" group grow. Regardless of whether we added apoc or another D4/D5 team to our group. I also see TP and Billy in our gameday chat every week. ![]() I definitely like seeing how my team is progressing, however, with regards to both performance and, hopefully, consistency. I definitely appreciate that part of it. |

It's nice to see the Seamen were able to keep #4 this week, despite the substandard performance. A little surprising, actually.
Having the top three in the ratings doesn't bother me in the least (and I don't think MylesKnight meant to imply that they do not belong). It gives the rest of us a good idea of the sort of performance we will need to produce to compete at the top levels. It is also very nice to see TP and Billy as active participants here in the FOFC community. The more the merrier.

Hey, I will be out of town for a few days so I won't be able to send you my friendly ratings since i had a walkover. If you want to just skip the week that's fine with me because I'm not even playing all my starters.

I wish I had payed more attention, but I wen't through the whole roster after the league games this week, and there were at least 5 teams that had been taken over by new owners. Probably something to do with the season now being half over. |

I gotta say that if we really want to 'make' it into hattrick, that we need to consider everyone who wants to be here in the rankings. I think the fact that we drew members from hattrick to here is a great sign. We have a thriving community and the more members and especially the higher ranked members, will give us more prestige within the organization.
We may not have 400+ supporters for our federation, but we have the board. And we have very active members. That alone makes us more powerful than somw others. I think that as the seasons go on, and we maintain this level of activity, the FOFC teams will rise to the top and continue up the hattrick ladder. Already having some teams at the top that call themselves FOFC members gives us that much more prestige and respect on our way to the top. I welcome them all into the clan.

thanks for the very kind words guys, it's really appreciated.
Daedalus, it's easy to pronounce, really. It goes like this: Kay-beck. See, that wasn't tough ![]() I always thought that Québecois in English would be Quebecers though... FM

Just a reminder to everyone outside of the top 5... expect to drop at least one spot more next week with the addition of another D2 team. I think it's a conspiracy to keep me out of the top 20
