I like Cum on feel the noise way better than just a friend, but I voted for the later because I think it fits the criteria better.

I was hoping Zagar and Evans would go further but they got a touch opponent this round.

Was not expecting the Biz Markie blowout. I guess "so bad, it's good" only takes you to round two.
Based on how they've done so far--and with no supersong in this group--I think that Quiet Riot has to be the favorite to come out of J at this point. |

Had a really hard time myself with both the Biz Markie / Quiet Riot and the Lipps, Inc / EMF matchup. Also surprised at the Quiet Riot blowout.

M vs Page - exactly how I expected it to go down
Markie vs Riot - again, played out about how I expected Haddaway vs Zagar & Evans - Didn't quite expect the strength of What is Love, but did expect it to win the pair... Lipps vs EMF - this was back and forth, right up until the end. As I've mentioned before some of these disco classics have outperformed my expectations, so I knew Funkytown would get pretty good support, but I still didn't see this coming down to 2 votes. I thought Unbelievable was going to be right in the wheel house of the board, and would carry the day by at least 6 votes. Initially, when I looked at this pod I figured EMF would win the bottom half, now I'm not so sure. In fact, at this point if I were setting a line, I think I'd make Haddaway the favorite in the next round. Last edited by Breeze : 12-18-2019 at 09:09 AM. |
