How was this weeks training ??

Mine sucked! I trainied 100% playmaking. Nobody popped, Some of my top startres lost form and my team value actualy droped 20k overall. what the hell happened ???

Do people have weeks like this from time to time, or are things just screwed up for me?

Yes, it happens and it sucks, and you need patience in this game. I have a number of players who I am waiting to pop and none of them did. I lost some form, gained some form, but no skill pops this week.

I know the random variables in the game are supposed to make it more interesting and all, but why does it seem as though at LEAST 2/3 go against me?

Ie. form drops, value losses, game draws and losses despite better possession & more shots, terrible youth pulls every week etc.

Well my training isn't finished, i have 2 defenders left to get training but i am not expecting either to pop. So far I have had 3 players pop to solid; both my starting wingbacks and a central D trainiee. The central D trainie will go on the transfer wire tomorrow.

and training in Canada only happens at 12:00 (noon) Hattrick time. That's only 6am EDT tomorrow morning... I'll let you know then... I have a few players that I would expect are very close to popping in playmaking...

Well, some of my younger PM trainees are coming really close to popping to solid. Most have been putting up 2* with passable, and then my solid jumped almost 20k in value.

My dad sees I'm on the site and since he has a team asked to use it. Well two weeks ago he pulled a 20 year old SOLID keeper valued at 491k. Two weeks later the guy is up to excellent. Grrrr.....I dislike my dad right now.

Going for what has to be a record:

How long do you think it will take for this guy to pop with an inad coach?

222 000 US$, 25 years, passable form
Has wretched experience and weak leadership abilities

Stamina: excellent Keeper: passable
Playmaking: wretched Passing: disastrous
Winger: disastrous Defending: disastrous
Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: poor

I had one popin plakmaking to passable , his stats are now:

Ola Issjö
92 000 US$, 18 years, inadequate form
Has wretched experience and wretched leadership abilities [Unpredictable]

Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: passable Passing: passable
Winger: poor Defending: inadequate
Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: inadequate

He actually dropped $11,000 though because his form went from solid to inadequate.

Bitterwsweet week form wise, that was about it.

I'd say he is around halfway to solid. The total time for a player this age with the inad coach is around 13 weeks so roughly 6-7 weeks.

Ugh. The form gods hate me. Really, really hate me.

Six starters dropped form, ONE increase.

Good side though, 3 playmaking pops.

My general training put all of my starters at passable or higher heading into the Dragons game. It's time to deliver some pain.

My slightly better (but older) keeper popped to solid, so he hits the list tommorow. Other keeper's probably 1-2 weeks away, but at 18, he stays for a while, as I have grander plans for him.

If he was close enough. But I don't want to teeter too far away from my PM training schedule, so I will just wait till I pull a magical solid keeper.

Popped my second straight excellent midfielder in as many weeks, a guy I bought a month ago for $250,000. Turned out to be not a bad investment.

Of course, he's red carded for this weeks league game. Natch.

Terrible training week for me, been training PM, 4 lost form, 1 gained, and lots lost value.

Now I'm trying to build up some of my reserves and get rid of dead weight.

I never guessed I'd become an HT addict.

pretty good playmaking results this week, as I saw three players pop a level:

a 22yo to solid (combined with formidable stamina )
a 19yo to passable (combined with excellent stamina )
a 18 yo to passable

probably two of those will find their way to the market. The 22yo was bought in my very beginning, when I had just read that midfield was important but had no clue about training

Form is another matter, as I saw only 4 players increase their form level and 5 others decreased, one of them dropped 2 levels

I keep waiting on my 21yr back-up keeper/trainee to pop. Thought it would be last week, it wasn't. Was sure it'd be this week, it wasn't. Next week?!

Form wise was horrid. 10 decreases and 5 increases (100% training).

The lone bright spot was my keeper poped to formidable. Of course, his form dropped for the 2nd straight week. . .

No pops for my defenders (but none were expected either). +1 overall form (-1 overall for starters), but only one starter is below passable form.

And on an entertaining side note, my 33 year old midfielder lost a level in winger (from poor to wretched). Boohoo.

What's the weekly wage for a formidable keeper?

I just looked at a couple of older formidable keepers on the Sweden market who were presumably formidable at the start of the season, when wages are calculated. It looks to be in the neighborhood of $6000 per week.

I switched to keeper training for a one week stint in order to pop a high inadequate youth pull, maybe that's why you got mixed up in the other thread.

FYI, for that one week, I switched from 8 assistant/2 keeper coaches to 5/5 for only a week. it cost me 6*1500=9000 for the firing but that keeper did pop and was sold for 105k

Had a nice week of stamina training. Form even increased as a whole as well. Dan Friis also reached the $100k value mark (with his Excellent stamina). I'll probably stick with this for a couple weeks, get ready for a relegation game with general training, and then start my official training program next year.

So you're saying you will be training stamina for another two weeks and then train general until the relegation match? Not the kind of training program you'd recommend for the long term...
