WTF happened to my team!!!

I had won 5 straight league games, outscoring the competition 14-1 in that timeframe. I'm 3rd in the league, and this team is in freakin' 6th or 7th.

The team I played today I beat 3-0 last week. I pretty much dominated the match. In the rematch today, they beat me 4-0.

Anyways, they beat me 4-0, and here are the ranking. My team is ElSe United...

Viking Berserkers
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: weak
Right Side Defence: poor
Central Defence: weak
Left Side Defence: poor
Right Side Attack: passable
Central Attack: passable
Left Side Attack: passable

Else United
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: wretched
Right Side Defence: solid
Central Defence: excellent
Left Side Defence: solid
Right Side Attack: passable
Central Attack: inadequate
Left Side Attack: solid

And their possession was 74% in the first half, and 87% in the second half. FROM A TEAM WHO HAD SCORED a total 7 goals in 8 games prior to today!

I'm freaking baffled.

they beat you in the midfield, so that is where the possesion numbers come from. I would bet the MOTSed or picked up some good midfielders. Tough luck

Yep, that wretched midfield will kill you. I also never take the lower teams in my league too lightly. My rule is to always check and make sure they have not added any big time transfers before I PIC.

They are one of the new teams in our series. You can't go back to what they did previous to the new owners.

Wasn't this the team that damn near beat you a few weeks ago? I'll have to go back and look, but I thought you had a 2-1 close call a few weeks ago as well.

I'll bet this is a real owner who drew a decent team and is making some changes to try and challenge in the last half of the season.

Was this during week 8? This week you should've been playing the team you beat during week 6.

Yeah, I was thinking of Kuhnshoot who is also a new team who looks like they might be for real next year.

You gotta remember we got 4 new teams in our series and you can't take what the teams did before the new owners and place it on them.
