Question Effect of Team spirit and confidence on next game.

I MOTSed my last game because I was coming off of 3 straight loses(2 of them to the #1 team in my league) and I needed a win. I ended up winning 4-0 as I recieved a 56 rating to his 52. Going into the game I had decent confidence and Team Spirit was composed. Right now they are furious and strong respectively.

My question is how badly will that affect my next game? I need another win and I am evenly matched with the Wildcats who I play sunday. Is the effect of team spirit going to hurt my team to the extent that I should fire my coach? How much of a difference does it make?

He is decent, nothing special.

Barry Nunn (8556234)
50 years, weak form, healthy
A passable coach who is defensive minded
A sympathetic guy who is tranquil and upright.
Has formidable experience and weak leadership abilities

In fact if I had lost sunday he would be gone already.

Btw, After I play the Wildcats I have 2 easy matches before I finish up against the number 2 and 3 teams which both should be very close games. My league is V.21, the 12th toughest in DV according to Hatstats as of last week. Also if I can beat the Wildcats I should be able to move from 6th up to 4th by the end of the season.

I don't know how many levels, but your midfield rating will drop because of your low team spirit.

Do you have the extra money to fire your coach and make a few attempts at a better one? I'd definitely go that route if you have the cash to do it.

Im 250K in the hole at the moment but I have a passable and solid Keeper up for sale which should bring me back to even.

Im leaning toward a new coach right now, but Im praying I can get at least a passable on one of my first 5 tries.

Am I correct in thinking that if I fire my coach I lose training for the players that played sunday?

If so I will just train stamina. I was planning on training that during one of the next 3 weeks anyways.

edit- typo

From what I'm aware, no. The only reason it says firing your coach affects training is because they are assuming you'll end up with a coach that is a different level than your current coach (else why fire the coach). So you're safe to train whatever it is you normally train now.

Firing a coach only affects training in respect to the new coaches level. ie:

You fire a passable coach and get a

inad - you will get less training because you dropped a level in coach skill.

passable - no change

solid - more training

etc...

contrary to rumors, firing a coach doesn't ruin training for the week

Thanks Panther and Vince. Then I will be waiting until next week to train stamina.

Edit and a note-
I have decided to change coaches so thanks to all who offered their advice.

Also I just checked Hatstats and my league moved up to the 7th toughest in DV. Its important because I use that to justify why my team is only in 6th place...

Yet another Dola

An update on my coach search.

Worst. Luck. Ever.

After eleven(!!!) tries I finally got an Inadequate coach. I saw about 5 weaks, 4 wretcheds, and 1 poor before I got him. Ouch.

So to all of you bastards that got a solid after a couple tries, you suck.

Thank you, that will be all.
