Here are the rankings as they stand after this week's league games. I have decided to make them official as of Monday.
I'll get to the rankings in a moment, for now, some explanations... - TW stands for "This Week" - LW stand for "Last Week" - The first set of numbers (to the left of the team names) represents the relative ranking of every team. A blank in either column means that team wasn't ranked that week. - The second set of numbers (to the right of the FOFC member name) represents the rankings points scored for the last two week. - The rankings points for a given week are calculated using a weighted moving average of that week's NSI points and the score of the previous two weeks' NSI points. - "NSI points" is the sum of all your position ratings from your game report, with midfield counting as triple its value - Ratings are scored with the base value set at disastrous = 1, wretched = 2, and so on. - If your team doesn't play its game because of a walkover, your rating for the game in question will be ignored in the weighted average and the remaining ratings will be used. - "exper" stands for the number of weeks of Hattrick experience the user has, that is the date of the day minus the date he got his team, divided by 7. Below, you will find a text formatted version of the rankings, but they are available on the web, GO TO THE OFFICIAL FOFC HATTRICK RANKINGS HOME ON THE WEB Also, if you want to see who has done particularly well (or bad) this week, there's a "tops" page, on which you can also see every team's game ratings for week 19.09. Someday, there will be a link straight from the rankings page, but for now, it available only from here: WEEK 19.09 IN A NUTSHELL That's about it for me, enjoy the rankings. As always, your comments are welcome and bragging is encouraged If you have any question about my very scientific methodology, feel free to ask ![]() FrogMan Code:

It's nice to see the direct impact adding one new player had on my team (A defender I actually outbid NAIWF for). This was in every way the best week my team has had. Still, we've got some work to do.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
About my team, I know it doesn't show in here, as the Pittbulls look well entrenched at teh 96th position, but just for fun, I computed my real 3 weeks rating based on my last three games of my "A" team. The ratings you see here for the Pittbulls are the ones for my "B" team, and PICing in 2 games out of the last three (still 3 wins, 3 shutouts). My "A" team currently plays in the FOFC cup and my TW rating for the last three weeks is 48.5. That I can live with a little better. That would give me 44th place, the highest Canadian FOFCer on the board... WOOT! FM

Thanks for putting together these rankings...........
Looks like I held on to the #4 spot for a 2nd week in a row. Sorry I wasn't able to post my match rating in the other thread, but I only got back from a visit to the in-laws in St Louis (700 miles away) an hour ago.

The week-to-week battle for 7-11 is looking REALLY interesting.
And, of course, I thoroughly enjoyed my team's consistency. A 2 spot drop every week might be a drop . . . but we're consistent! Thanks for the awesome work as always, Frogger. ![]() Quote:

As long as I continue to rank better than Horned, I am happy. Well, losing 1-0 with puke green socks on sucks, too.

I've only played WELL for a month and a half... I have to give all the credit to everyone here for that... for the first 4-6 weeks I owned the team, I sucked. Hard. I came on here and cried for help, and that's when things turned around. |

quick update after my FOFC cup game tonight, in which my guys played the game of their life, posting a 57 rating. IF I take my last three "A" team games, which were the last three FOFC cup games, I have ratings of 49, 50, and 57 for a combined rating of 53.2, that would place my Pittbulls in 19th place, WOOT!!!
I know nobody cares, but it sure feels good to see your team really isn't a 96th place team... It also boosts my confidence of being able to compete in D.IV in Canada. D.IV in Canada is weaker than in USA, so a 53 to 57 rating, depending on the strength of the league, could put me in the top 4 in D.IV... Right now, life is good... ![]() FM
