Team_info question
I'm going to make an assumption but want to ask. The team_info file starts at 2002. Within the constraints of the league formats we should/may be able to go further back with this shouldn't we?
Asking for a friend thats thinking about the possibilities. |

Look at the custom files if you want to go back to say 1965 (which is what I am building).
In the custom files you can create a starting roster set for the base year you are starting from and in that same file future drafts. Look at the examples. For instance Drew Brees is in my file with an ID of zero, team of zero. And the base year (far right column) will be the year he will be in the draft, which says I think 2001. Note that if you start in say the year 2000, your base year will state that in your player file (for the players you want to start with) and in the 2000_info.csv you will have. The text files explain it well. |

Exactly. I was thinking you can structure this to align with the league formats to create a historical setting. Other question I have is that in doing so will the game allow for a league expansion and retain the previous data elements? Don't know. Last edited by NawlinsFan : 11-01-2023 at 02:25 PM. |
