another outreach question

Anyone dable with schedule creation? If so how do you do it or what do you use to do it? I am reqorking the 16/4/16 schedule and sequencing it after removing the bye week. It began easy enough for the weeks were two teams were sitting out, I simply plugged them in. As I did so though I began paying attention to the flow of the schedule and it was just off. Some of the division games were lacking, others had home and away games against teams not in their division, etc., and these were not the teams I had to add.

So I began to rework it mostly from scratch. Needless to say it can be done but requires patience and is time consuming, both of which I seem to have little of of late. So for those Masters of the Universe out there that do this any feedback will be appreciated.

I have stayed away from schedule tweaking. Over the seasons the schedules shuffle and any mistake can show up down the road.

I elected to invest the effort into my players/draft list files and avoid this rabbit hole!

Thinking that now. I was trying to replicate a summer league with no exibition games and no bye week. It has become a PITA.

A 16/4/16 format with 6 exhibition games is a killer.
