Too Many Players?
New to Front Office Football Nine.
New league, 1st exhibition game. My Roster - Active tab says that I can have 60 players active for the exhibition game. I have 60 players active. Attempting to advance - and I receive the message that I have too many players. I'm at a loss, since the information the game is giving me would appear to indicate that I've exactly the number of players I'm supposed to have. I'm not seeing any max roster counts anywhere in the game menus, but if it's using the NFL's roster counts, then I'm well below it (I've 70, with 10 inactive). NFL roster counts go 90 - 85 - 80 - 53. |

You can have 60 on your roster in pre-season but only 47 can be active. When the regular season starts, your roster is cut to 53 players with again only 47 active.

In presason you can have al 60 active.
But I think you can also only have 60 players (excluding IR & holdouts), but it isn’t entirely clear

Thank you. While it seems odd, and I wish it was closer to the NFL figures, trimming my total down to 60 players, with those 60 all being active, did allow me to advance and play the preseason game. I appreciate the answer. |

A pity with those numbers. It surely could have advanced since FOF( which had limits to 60. On this newer version I almost expected Jm would increase it to 70-80 for pre-season. Best of course to follow the real NFL rule of squads of course
