Is there a way of changing team names in-game?

I know how to change them pre-game, but after thinking I’d give FOF9 another go after Xmas as a pure GM, I readjusted the names on the new files post-update, but after three simmed seasons and one (so far seemingly excellent) manual FA and draft, I’ve realised my drag-to-fill method of changing names in Excel has resulted in the San Francisco 71ers!

My fear is there is no way of in-game change, and the 71ers will annoy me enough to start again, but after two evenings work, I thought I’d ask for advice before restarting

As far as I can tell you can only change your own team's name when you move them.

You can change team logos mid-game though, so feel free to go ahead and make a 71ers logo and lean into it (sorry this is no help, but I think this is a pretty funny situation).

Unfortunately, FOF9 doesn’t allow in-game team name changes. You may need to edit the files again and restart. If you want to avoid restarting completely, try checking if a third-party mod or database edit can fix it mid-save.
