FOF9 - How to set the starting year to be 2001 for a new fictional league???

First off I just want to say that this has been a great game that I've always come back to for many, many years!!! Thanks so much for continuing to make new releases!

I love playing and starting new fictional leagues when using this game. I enjoy creating my own universe, getting to know all of the fictional players this game creates. I always start my new NFL fictional universe and watch new players come and go and see them traded to new teams, retire, develop, etc. With FOF9 I always use the default year of 2024 and just start from there. I know how to edit the team names to replicate the NFL and place the proper team logos with no problem. The one thing I've never learned but I am pretty sure you can do is change the starting year. I simply want to start my new career/universe in the year 2001. Where and what file exactly do I need to update/change the starting year? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for your time and help here!

Welcome! Historical is very fun.

Go here:

FOF Historic Files - rev0 released - Front Office Football Central

These files should go in your "custom examples" folder. Then, in the game, you click the option to use custom files, and select the 2001_info.csv file.

I am on my phone and don't have the game in front of me, but if that's not enough info, let me know and I'll give more detail. There's a lot of things you can modify as well if you really get into it.
