Wow, I did nott see that coming! Guess it's time to update my facepack. Hopefully FOF10 is in the works. I would love to support the developer, even if it's just a small update. Really hoping this title keeps evolving!

Yes, thanks Jim!!

Jonah Laulu is missing a 0 for his birth year, so he shows up as age 1825. Player ID is 6423. You can manually edit the players file and add the 0 so it reads 2000 for his birth year.

Thank you!

@MizzouRah, can I edit that player after I started a new save or no?

I don't think this is possible, unfortunately.

Like Haiku said, you have to start a new universe unfortunately.

Yeah, I figured that might have been the case. Thank you! I guess he'll just retire early for me after the 2025 season, at the ripe age of 1,826 lol.

So even editing the players.dat file won't fix it?

In an existing league, is it possible to edit the short name for the Rams? They show up on the in-game scoreboard as LAG. Was hoping to change it to LAR.

I don’t think anything can be edited once the game has started. It reads the data and stores it in the save game file upon creation.

You could try that, I have no idea how to edit that.

What I would love to find a way to edit (after starting a game) are the team abbreviations. I know how to set these up in the Excel docs, but forgot to do so before starting and I'm already at Week 5.

It might be possible? Only because aren't you able to when relocating a team?

I know this isn't a roster editing thread, but wanted to share, along with my thanks for the new update, that RB Kareem Hunt is listed as a R even though he was drafted in 2017.

Also, I'm seeing the Saints have two games on September 21st. This is anytime I start a new 2025 NFL league.

Good catch. You can fix this by opening up the 2025_schedule file, looking in cell F90, and replacing the 18 with a 19. That will change the Chiefs-Saints game to a Chiefs-Giants game like it's supposed to be.
