Won 5 of my last 6 league games...but the team has been playing bad in the 442, so I'm back in the 352. Check this weird 1st half. The team I'm playing is going 10-0-0....I had 100% possession...they scored. (!?)

The match is in progress, 23 minutes of the second half have been played.
11560 spectators arrived at Allington Fairgrounds, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. United tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Browning - Chance, Figueiredo Costa, Aldrich - Diaz, Mcmillan, Esparza, Mcqueen, Walker - Duvholt, Marshall.

FluffyBunnyFeet had chosen a strategic incomprehensible 10-0-0 formation. Lineup: Henderson - Pena, Dragomiroiu, Breeden, Knézy, O'Kelly, Lundy, Richard, Harden, Thurston, Chadwick - - .

The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 in the 6:th by a breakthrough from Roffe Duvholt, who unaided came in out of the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors keeper. FluffyBunnyFeet seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion about the organization of the team. Leonard Harden seemed to be floating in the air at will as he elegantly headed in 1-1. The previous FluffyBunnyFeet corner kick was executed by Zeb Richard. United were very close to putting themselves one up in the 31st minute as Roffe Duvholt got through, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. FluffyBunnyFeet seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion about the organization of the team. After a fine move down the middle Roffe Duvholt nearly gave the home side one up in the 36:th minute. The finishing shot went just wide, though. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 1. United held the ball, with a clear 100 percent possession rate.

Do goalie set pieces ratings help

what do you mean?

If you mean if a keeper can be your set pieces guy? Answer to that is yes. my keeper is passable in set pieces and is my second best. Kicked a free kick just outside the other team's penalty area last week... :)

I think he means if a high Set Piece rating makes a keeper better at stopping it.

I'd say no.

And I pretty sure the answer is no. The "set pieces" skill is how a player is able to kick the set pieces, not how he can stop it...

Shame. so since my goalie has a passable set pieces rating, he's probably overvalued...

What did the final score end up being?

Those guys played that formation against me last week. I sent him a message through hattrick saying that not only will it not work, none of his players will get any training. He wrote back and said, thanks.

I think he's trying to blow it. His team has sucked all year and for whatever reason, he's tanking the rest of the season.

I won 3-1...but I have a low-scoring team (defensive-minded), so take that with a grain.

My Swedish strike Duvolt scored a hat trick tho...

He's only 19!

Career Goals: 33
Career Hattricks: 3

He played a 6-2-2 in one game, too:

FluffyBunnyFeet had chosen a strategic incomprehensible 6-2-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Henderson - Pena, Dragomiroiu, Breeden, Lundy, Thurston, Harden - Simpson, Knézy - O'Kelly, Richard.

Check out his transfer history:

Date Type Players To/From Price Value then
5/28/2003 Bought Carl Carrillo from Evil Dead 5 000 US$ (22 000 US$)
5/26/2003 Bought Sergio Belmonte from Echidna 50 000 US$ (19 000 US$)
5/23/2003 Bought Jamie Pena from AYSA Express 50 000 US$ (14 000 US$)
3/17/2003 Bought Béla Knézy from Aluminumers 20 000 US$ (28 000 US$)
3/17/2003 Bought Toderas Dragomiroiu from DevilQuakes 92 000 US$ (22 000 US$)
3/17/2003 Bought José Breeden from Eructadores FC 53 000 US$ (37 000 US$)

Paying a lot higher than market value...could be a shared team aimed at making small money for teams...

If I'm not mistaken, I think that's a "Head" specialty goal. I *think* the set pieces of the corner taker does factor into it too though.
