Well, I've figured out skippy's punishment. One week in the box, plus I screwed with his precious post count. ;)

I think the fascination with post counts gets to be a bit much around here sometimes.

A job well done Skydog!
BTW, we were going to screw with your title "HNIC" while you were gone.
How does "HWM" sound?

You know, I like the post count thing, and I wouldn't want to see it go away, but when people do things like this it really irritates me.

Dola,
Of course, I thought about doing my own thread called watch me hit 2000, but I thought better of it.

One week in the penalty box, for what? And you better put my post count to where it was yesterday morning, not six months ago.

Let me reprhase.
And please fix my post to at least what it was yesterday morning. I'm not too sad about not getting my 3,000th post. I'll reach that fair and square on the thread kill.

Kodos's "Marmel" "SkyDog" search brought this gem of a thread back on my radar screen. I had completely forgotten about this entire hilarious incident.

So Skydog can just erase your post count at any time?
Interesting.

the way he usually can do it is by deleting threads that get out of hand..
That's why when the flames start flying, people will start to run around yelling.. "Oh no. People will lose post count!"
Or it more like comes out as..
"O NOES! PEEPUL WILL LOSSE POASTS!"

I like how the "Mr. 3000" poster has two taglines. It's as if the marketing team went like this:
Ad Guy 1: Ok, I've got it!! "He's putting the 'I' back in team"
Boss: Oh, Brent, that is just golden. You slay me, you SLAYER, you!
Ad Guy 2: I've got one!!! "Big League. Big Mouth. Big Time." Because it's the big leagues, and Bernie Mac has a big black mouth, and big time because it's--it's revolutionary.
Boss:Well, usually I've stuck with my "One tagline per movie poster" rules, but Todd, I can't throw genius into the trash. TWO TAGLINES!

You know, I was really bummed when half of my posts dissapeared and I dropped back below 2000. Someday I will again climb back to 2000 again
