Anyone want to help me out? Here's my story.
I got my team at the beginning of the season, and spent a fair bit on players so I could compete in Canada's division IV, where I was placed. I'm now in third place, with a chance to move up to second, but have achieved this at the cost of not expanding my stadium, which I need to do soon if I'm going to maintain the team. Since I've been training defending, my strategy was to train someone up to solid and sell him for the $ I need to build my stadium.
The thing is, I finally finished this training last friday and tried to move my guy for C$360000, which is a bit above the going rate, and didn't get any takers. As it stands, like Billy, I have two home games left, one of which is this weekend, which means my stadium would only be built in time to host one game before the end of the year.
Should I try to sell this guy at a lower price and build the stadium in time for my last home game, or should I wait until the begininng of next season to expand?
In a connected question, since most teams have addressed their needs by now, it's clearly a buyer's market. When do you think will be an advantageous time to sell my guy for the most money? If I wait until the beginning of next season, will I have to wait until two weeks into the season to start reaping the rewards of the new stadium?
Decisions, decisions...
