He sold for $75K. Sure, Thomas will be a great keeper one day and will pop to passable most likely within a week of goaltending training. But I figured I would get, at the most $50k for him. So this was a nice little bonus, esp. this late in the season.

If you don't train goalies then this is a good deal for you. But a goalie trainer will have this guy back on the market in two weeks going for $100k

To continue on the unexpected trend, I just sold a player for $225k when I thought he'd go for $100-150k

I think the guy made a mistake. He thought that he'd pop in one training. If you played him this week, he was thinking he'd pop with this training update (he's training keeper & you played him at keeper this week). I think he's 2 weeks away though.

Well the intangibles could factor in as well (level of coach, number of goalkeeping coaches, etc.) I thought keepers popped around $150,000. The guy who bought him is from Swedeen and we all know how inflated that market is. Yesterday Thomas did not even have a bid on him. It was quite a bidding war.

I to feel the same way, I just put up a 24yr old forward with a solid in it.

He was assessed at 89K, I set the initial at 50K, well through an intense bidding war today, he ended at 229K.

Not bad.
