Cash Limit for Transfers?

So I put my starting goalie (mid level passable) who has been in the form shitter for going on 5 weeks now on the transfer wire, and now he's finally creeping back up the form ladder. Since my backup just popped to passable, I'd rather sell him and keep the starter now that he's going up again.

I started him at $80,000, and I was going to put in a bid at $150,000 to try to get him back, but it won't let me because it says I don't have the cash. I thought the limit was -200,000? Right now I have ~20,000 of debt, and after this week I'm dropping to ~65,000. I even lowered the offer so that I'm below the 200,000 mark accounting for the economy update this week, but it still won't let me make the bid. Any ideas why?

Did you bid under 135k? That, I think, is the max you're gonna be allowed to bid. It keys off of what you WILL have, not what you have.

Edit: At least I think it does. It's been weird for me at times, allowing bids when I didn't think it would, and vice versa.

Well, I didn't have any other bids on the clock. I went back later to look at it, and I think my problem was I offered $1 too much the second time (when I offered enough to put me at -$200,000 accounting for my proposed -$65,000 at the end of the week). Either way, I upped the bid to $130,000, and my mid-passable keeper in poor form actually had someone else up the bid on him. He was 21, so not too young either. I'm a little disappointed, but that's not too bad a price to sell him for ($135,000), especially considering his crappy form.
