Ok, an interesting situation rose from this weeks game.
I am training playmaking and had 3 inner mids in series game and have 3 set up for friendly to train. One of my mids for the series game was injured, but is listed as still training (65+ minute of game) and had one of the guys that is scheduled to start at sub.
Does the series game count as training for the guy that came in as a sub even though he only played like 25 mins. If so, would it be possible to sneak a 7th mid to try and get the playmaking training ? I'm asking because I don't want to lose out on the week's training.

Im not 100% positive, but I think yes- both players get training...Even if the 2nd guy were to only play 1 minute. I have the same situation and I Hope they both get training so I can give one of my young wingers some defense training to help boost his secondaries a little.

As soon as a player steps on the field, no matter for how long, he gets his training. This means that if your player is bruised but training, as you are saying, you got 4 inner mids who qualified for training already. You could start 3 different ones on Wednesday and end up with 7 players getting the full playmaking training.

This has happened to me a few times.

The same thing happened to me this week, so I'll be trying to get a 9th defender in this week. If it doesn't work, I'm holding you personally responsible FM :D

Doug, what you are doing makes a lot of sense too. What I usually do when that happen, is I'll play at inner mid on Wednesday a player who played at winger on Sunday, or another winger that I want to give hjim a little playmaking training...

Here's another question - newbie

When I took over my team I decided to start training playmaking almost right off the bat so I don't know if this is allowed because I haven't fiddled around with it too much.

Is there any way I can train one thing for the Sunday match and then something else for the Wednesday match. The reason I'm asking is because I have couple of Midfielders that I'd like to training for playmaking on Sunday and then keep them in for the friendly and have them train for passing. Is that possible?
