To help everyone interested in the developments of our fellow FOFC H-trickers, please post your current Division/League Standings & any other pertaining info you wish. This is just a much more conveinient way of checking things out than having to go through each one, Division by Division, at the Hattrick Site.

Here's mine...

Sunday, July 6, 2003 (Week #14 of 14)

Fairies in Tight Shorts at Nagle's Noles
Spartanbergers at The Thanksgiving Chocolate Pandas
L.A. Lazers at Erin's Toys
Jayhawks at First Coast Conquistadors
"I close out the season with 2 Home Matches and only 1 Roadie.. The Match of the Year for me, up to this point has to be the one coming up this Sunday, at Home against the L.A. Lazers. The Lazers are tied with the Pandas, 1 Point up on my squad in the battle for 5th, 6th & 7th. Is ever there was a MUST WIN, this is definitely it for me.

The following Sunday, we visit the powerful Spartanbergers, whom we someone managed a Tie with earlier this season at The Paladium in PVB. They definitely haven't forgotten about that one, as Mr. S'berger himself mentioned to me recently in a nice little email. Realistically, we just hope to stay healthy through this one and keep our confidence heading into the final week of the season.

And what a week it could be. We host the Jayhawks in our Inaugural Season Finale, in what could be the most dramatic Sunday of Futbol ever. I really think we will end up needing a Win over a strong 'Hawk team to finish in either the 5th or 6th Spot.. The fingernails will definitely be quite a bit shorter at the end of that one.

The Goal now is simple, avoid automatic relegation and give ourselves a shot to fight it out in a Qualification Match, one that we would host by the way against a D.VI Divisional Champion. I think a 2-1 record the rest of the way is what it's going to take.. Man, that Damn Draw at Home against the Fairies a few weeks ago could end up costing us dearly..

I'll tell you what, as the season winds down, this whole H-trick thing just gets more and more interesting. I hope everyone is enjoying things as much as I am over here... and hell, I'm in next to last place." :D

You certainly got the hook up when it comes to the Schedule for the last three weeks of the Season, Illini.

Who beat the Richland Bombers this season anyway? It had to be the Spring Grovers, right? I know you spanked my a$$ good in the FOFC Cup.. That one still hurts.

Black Reign beat the Richland Bombers back in week 1.

illinifan999
06-16-2003, 12:05 PM
No, it was Black Reign when they were good. Now they cant seem to pull a win against anyone except for the patsy teams. I'm really happy that I got to end the season against teams that I should have no problem beating. Hauppage looks like they will be the favorite next season with their great midfield. I am getting there though, so next season should be a good one. :)

Here we go Illini.. Again, these do not include the results of this past Sunday's (Week 11) Matchups.

I knew it was either Jacksonville or Utterberg.

utterberg might give me trouble as they will probably MOTS against me at their place. Otherwise I should have no problem winning out. Oh yeah made 98k off crowd yesterday. Pretty damn happy. Now that I make 60k profit on league home weeks I can finally start to buy some good players.

Looking at your schedule, looks like you don't end out too well. You will hopefully beat the Lazers and maybe pull out against Spartenburg if they PIC. Just make sure you dont get auto-demotion. ;)

Pulled from HATStats, as of week 10, here's what my standings look like...

Rk Team Name + - Diff Pts Form. All Def Mid Att Rating
1 Pintendre Pittbulls 41 2 39 28 4-5-1 22.0 11.5 10.5 0.0 45 D

4 New Brunswick Mounties 15 16 -1 15 4-4-2 12.0 6.5 4.0 1.5 27 W
5 Winnipeg Polar Dogs 11 16 -5 14 4-4-2 11.5 6.0 3.0 2.5 26 D
6 N and L Nordiques 9 17 -8 11 4-4-2 7.5 3.5 3.5 0.5 19 L
7 Ontario Polar Dogs 7 27 -20 4 4-4-2 8.0 4.5 2.5 1.0 21 L
8 Alberta Polar Bears 2 37 -35 0 4-4-2 11.0 7.0 3.0 1.0 26 L

That's what an all-bot league looks like :) I tied 1-1 against 5th place team last week, after my sole forward got sent off on a red card in the middle of the first half and I was absolutely unable to generate any offense...

I won 5-0 on the road against the 3rd place team and will play the 7th at home, the 6th at home, and the 2nd away to finish off the season. I'll probably PIC twice and MOTS the hell out of that last bot team :D

Thanks Guys!! Only one other request though, if you would, please include your Division/League Info.. ie; D-V.Whatever.

Thanks again!!

By the way, hey FrogMan, outscoring your League Foes 41-2 thus far? YIKES!! Hey, how did you end up in a Bot League anyway? Is this your Franchise's 1st Year, or were you previously relegated? Just curious..

Oh, and notice how everyone whose posted their League Standings thus far is right up near the top or at the top of their Division except your's truly. Obviously my 5-4-1 experiment that lasted, oh the first half of the season or so, didn't work out too well. If only I went 3-5-2 right off the bat.. :D

EDIT: Series .225

1. THO 11 34 - 23 23

2. Florida Sharks 11 40 - 19 22
3. MF-Revengers 11 37 - 20 22
4. Square Pegs 11 28 - 16 20

5. Agents 11 20 - 33 15
6. Creed is a religion 11 18 - 21 14

7. Campeon FC 11 19 - 33 9
8. man_city 11 13 - 44 3

I'm sitting @ 4 right now, but the MF-Revengers are the newest team in the series after the top team got booted for cheating (I think). I play the last place team, the Agents (who just lost in W/O), and THO, while THO plays the Florida Sharks. I have a new Solid keeper while THO just sold their best player, so I think I could win out and get a shot at promotion. At the very least I'll be in decent position to next year.

6. enemy's 11 14 - 15 12

7. UIW 11 10 - 32 6
8. hangwon 11 4 - 39 4

Complex - vs hangwon, at Real Celtic, vs enemy's
sony - at UIW, vs enemy's, at inlada team

Despite having a better team, I still trail sony by one point. He defeated Master Debators 2-1 this weekend despite being outplayed, while I crushed inlada 11-0.

I should easily win all three remaining games (+20 NSI advantage), but sony will probably win out as well. The only challenge he might face is inlada in the final week. Odds are I will spend another season in V.249 beating up on the same teams.

My Louisiana Cyclones are in first with a perfect record so far. The other FOFC member from my series (terpkristin) is currently sitting in 3rd after holding first for a lot of the season, then 2nd, and then had a tough loss this past weekend to drop them down to 3rd and be tied with GHZ.

I finish the season against:
(UCSB got their team a few days ago)
6/23/2003 (League): UCSB - Louisiana Cyclones

6/30/2003 (League): Louisiana Cyclones - dolfns

7/7/2003 (League): GIANTS DC - Louisiana Cyclones

The only real compitition I face will be dolfns; the team who managed to beat fellow FOFCer the real terps 4-0 this past weekend.

First off, my league is V.211 in Canada.

About the "crappiness" of it, well Div V in Canada is almost like Div VI in USA. I got my team in div IV with 4 league games left last season. At that point, my team had absolutely no point and I won 2 and lost 2 of the last 4 games, clearly not enough to save me from relegation, so I got relegated to my current league. In Canada, there's five levels, or 2728 available. Of those teams, only 1257 are owned by active users. Many leagues are bot-only in Div in Canada...

That's why I'm in a bot league and I can't wait to get the hell out of here and face some real competition :)

Most of the teams in my division started out as humans, got taken over by computer teams about halfway through, and have just been replaced. Forest Flyers and SCFC N40 are the only teams beside me who were there at the beginning of the season.

They must have. It all happened when he tied Fountain 2-2. I figured he must have PICed for the upcoming games against me. Then I blew him out in the 2 games and it's been downhill for him since then. I was actually surprised when Burganation started to get better. For awhile it looked ilke Burg and Fountain were battling to see who was going to get the worst record.

TT should retake the league on goal difference. Hopefully FF doesn't MOTS against me.

The end all game. This should decide the champ. MOTS's the game at home for me.

I have Montg. United at home this week, so I should be assured of a 6th place finish. This will allow me to PIC the final two games to prepare for the relegation match. If real' can upset Virginia Beach this week then I have a shot at 4th place. I'd have to beat Wisconsin the week after and then I'd meet Virginia for the deciding match the week after. Not likely, but if real' upsets them, things change.

If you’ve ever wondered what the ultimate logjam looks like in a series race, now you know. Croats in Miami will win the series with a match remaining against the lowly Syracuse Supers, but we do not expect them to let up on anyone, as they are still two points behind the automatic-promotion line. After that, it’s a complete and utter mess. A grand total of three points separate the 2nd and 7th place teams, so it is still possible for anyone to improve their standing, at the expense of others, naturally. Things are so tight that goal differential could very well make the difference, and in that respect we have the advantage at the moment with Big Reds, as both of our clubs sit at +7.
