Yea--- He will play friendly's and I will boost his stamina in the offseason... hopefully to INAD... then when he pops to solid... I an get good $ for him.

it might be a better plan to keep him and train him all next season. mix in a few weeks of stamina and then'll you be able to rake in some pretty good cash

AES--- Thats fine... Im running on a low budget system here and I can't afford to rake out 50k for guys with secondaries.... I got my team 3 weeks ago now... and I'm not nearly at that level... look at it objectively, I'm sure he isn't good for your team and you can afford much higher end players.

He's a team cancer type which will cost a certain TS hit and as Aes said, his secondaries are non-existent.

It means the player hurt your team spirit. Check out your TS now..Serves you right for correcting me... bastard... Nothing more will happen. Second, I havent had my team all that long either, but when I have cash (emphasis on when) I make sure that he has secondaries at least around 'weak' Not all that great but sure is alot better than 'poor' or 'wretched'

Oh and by the way I got a Inner Middie with high 'weak' Passing (I know because attack is helped) high 'inad' PM (1 weeks training and he popped) as well as 'weak' scoring and defending. Paid 13,000

Got a weak Passing inad Defending, and middle Inadequate PM for 7,000

And my last trainee was high Inadequate PM (another 1 week to pop player) weak passing, weak defending for 2,000.

All 3 of them achieved Passable+ Stamina with 1 weeks training.

How do you know if they are "high" Inadequates... I've been told(multiple times) its a guessing game when it comes to when I.M. trainees will pop(atleast at the inad/passable level). Please, share with me so I can find these guys.

I agree with that, especially after seeing , in another thread, a 18yo excellent playmaker go for 510k... wow, that's some dollars we're talking about...

Keep in mind that Norwegian player had really good secondaries. I don't know why the owner didn't wait a few more weeks and sell him at formidable, he probably would have made well over $1 million.

Other than his inadequate at winger, he's not all that impressive. Better than the one presented here, but not all that much, at least I don't think. Could the inadequate winger really make that much difference?

After looking back on Billy's 17yo, I have to admit that he's probably a kind of low passable, since he's only valued at 26k...

There's 2 things that seperate them to me.

1) Technical middies lose some of their skill in the rain, quicks don't. (it's almost always raining or overcast in my region)

2) And having that inadequate winger means the manager can slide him over to play the spot in a pinch. I'd also imagine if he had to be played towards the wing it wouldn't hurt him too much.

Admittedly, midfield is not my strength but if we had our choice of the 1st guy or this guy (if both were at 18 yo excellent playmaker) I think most would take the Norwegian guy.

oh, I agree, he's the most "attractive" of the two, probably by far, to us who, my question were most in terms of "sellability" if I can say that. I would think that two 18yo excellent playmakers would sell at about the same rate, give or take a few tens of thousand. Say the Norwegian guy could probably sell for 510k-550, then maybe that new guy could sell for anywhere between 480-520. I could be wrong though...

Fair enough. I tend to think in terms of who I'd rather have on my team longer team since I don't train to sell at the next pop :)

For some players on my team, I think like that too, but sometimes, there are some easy money players, like training that one here until he's excellent. To get him to excellent will need almost all of next season, but should cash in some pretty penny...

dola, in fact I have two 17yo passable quite similar to that one that I don't see playing with my team past the middle of next season, or as soon as they get to excellent at 18yo. Then I'll be able to after a few older excellent defender :)
