After the training updates today, i decided i wanted to know where my best player stacked up against the rest of the board(not to high probobly). So if you could post just your highest rated player in this thread, i can make a list...might be ineresing to see. I will start off with my player:
Ruben Cutler (8611552)
19 years, passable form, healthy
A popular guy who is balanced and honest.
Has wretched experience and solid leadership abilities.
Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 491 000 US$
Wage: 1 230 US$/week
Owner: Blade Bombers
Warnings: 0
Stamina: weak Goaltending: excellent
Playmaking: disastrous Passing: disastrous
Winger: disastrous Defending: disastrous
Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: poor
Career Goals: 0
Career Hattricks: 0
League goals this season: 0
Cup goals this season: 0
he is a 19 year old excellent, but also a clown making him a nice piece of market bait if i need to sell him.
So for right now the list looks as such:
1. Ruben Cutler(Blade Bombers) - 491,000

I think you're going to need a list of each position. I don't think a formidable defender is worth as much as a mid solid goalie for example. My top player won't be anywhere on anyone's list, so consider that idea to be my contribution :)
Don't have the info to show all his stuff right now, but Dave Sumner is a formidable scorer and I believe solid at setting pieces.

I meant value wise, which is what most people tend to judge by, which is incorrect obviously. I wonder what the game has against defense. My inadequate goalie in inadequate form is valued almost double that of a solid defender who is at least 1/4 of the way to excellent.

It's actually to the defenders benifit actually, When you train 8-10 defenders you don't want high values. Since you are training only 2 keepers, the value = that of 10 defenders.
Actually, if we go by straight up value, my best player is:
Admir Podboj
422 000 US$, 20 years, solid form
Has wretched experience and weak leadership abilities
Stamina: weak Keeper: solid
Playmaking: wretched Passing: disastrous
Winger: disastrous Defending: disastrous
Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: disastrous
Here's what I've compiled sp far:
1. Juán Delvalle (Knights of the Apocalypse) - $8,303,000
2. Stefan Wennling (Shaolin Landfills) - $5,607,000
3. Jörgen Pettersson (Panther City FC) - $4,244,000
4. Andrew Cooper (Airborne Penguins) - $3,011,000
5. Buda Dragóner (SouthPark Cows) - $917,000
6. Chad Cisneros (Calibiri) - $666,000
7. Filip Suchodolski (Slithy Toves) - $530,000
8. Ruben Cutler (Blade Bombers) - $491,000
9. Neal Dunn (Gargoyles) - $465,000
10. Admir Podboj (NE Oklahoma Sidekicks) - $422,000
11. Cornelius Jernigan ('Screamin Seamen) - $415,000
12. Nikolay Sherf (Arkham Avengers) - $404,000

21. Carlos Alberto Benito (Houston Hippopotami) - $306,000
22. Derrick Woodson (Isla Vista Vandals) - $278,000
23. Alejandro Reyes (Cedar Pond Horned Toads) - $267,000
24. Freddy Mata (Louisiana Cyclones) - $264,000
25. Inge Oskarsson (Galesburg Avengers) - $260,000

Yay! Chad made the list! Thanks, Vex. (Does this mean your computer is back in business and you'll be joining us for Sunday's game?) :)
Excluding The Big Four, I dig that guy in the middle of DK's defense. Scales, I think? Although given versatility and age, his wingback Lucas can and probably will be even better. At least when he's not getting himself booked. Got to admit, though, with Hattrick, having a formidable middie like Vex's Andersson would be insane.

I put up a passable this past week: my third middie "only" puts up 2.5 stars and I'm thinking it's a low 2.5 since he's young and doesn't have the greatest stamina yet (this is definately splitting hairs). Both guys have been with me from the start as a passable and solid 22yo and 24yo. The excellent vexroid mentioned was during an MotS, so it kindof has an asterisk next to it :D
That said, if the Big Four (billay, apoc, tp, and lonestar) are included, they have pretty much the entire field covered with their obscene players ;)

I don't have anyone really worthy of being part of an all-star FOFC team, as my keeper is my highest valued player but he's only a low passable, valued at only 156k. Other than hmi, I don'T even have a single player valued over 100k U$...
I have 5 passable defenders who are giving me regular 2.5 stars game, but this is not too exceptional compared to some other teams.
Strangely enough, my best player would be a passable playmaker, who just posted his my team's first ever 3 stars game probably due to his offensive order as he's an inadequate passer.
Anyway, here's that player...
Per Rossten (5130881)

While my keeper, "Corny" Jernigan, has the highest assessed value of any Seaman, it's my three defenders that are the most valuable, put up the best ratings, and would have the best chance of making the "All-FOFC Not-Counting-The-Big-Four Team." :D
If I had to pick one, I would have to go with Arlen Lucas. Got to love the head specialty in a defender.
#2 Chuck Scales
Position: Central Defender
24 years old, solid form, healthy.
A sympathetic guy who is calm and honest.
Has poor experience and poor leadership abilities.
Nationality: American
Assessed Value: $266,000
Wage: $1,490 per week
Stamina: Weak
Playmaking: Poor
Winger: Weak
Scoring: Inadequate
Goaltending: Disastrous
Passing: Wretched
Defending: Formidable
Set Pieces: Poor
At present, Chuck put up 4* in solid or better form.
#5 Arlen Lucas
Position: Wingback
21 years old, excellent form, healthy.
A sympathetic guy who is temperamental and honest.
Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities.
Specialty: Head
Nationality: American
Assessed Value: $388,000
Wage: $1,580 per week
Stamina: Solid
Playmaking: Poor
Winger: Passable
Scoring: Poor
Goaltending: Disastrous
Passing: Wretched
Defending: Formidable
Set Pieces: Poor
A steady 4* performer, should put up 4.5* if played defensively.
#22 Tyler Willard
Position: Wingback
20 years old, excellent form, healthy.
A sympathetic guy who is balanced and dishonest.
Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities.
Specialty: Unpredictable
Nationality: American
Assessed Value: $327,000
Wage: $1,320 per week
Stamina: Inadequate
Playmaking: Wretched
Winger: Passable
Scoring: Wretched
Goaltending: Disastrous
Passing: Poor
Defending: Formidable
Set Pieces: Inadequate
Put up his first 4.5* performance on Sunday (played defensively). His unpredictable nature makes him the most expendable of the three, and the one I would most likely be willing to part with once his training is complete.
