With two weeks to go I am pretty much a lock for 4th in my division. There's slim hope of 3rd and an even slimemr chance at finishing in 5th. With that being said what costs occur during the offseason.

I am assuming that you still have to pay your players and coaches. Do you have to pay all your staff too? Will my spokespeople be of any use during the downtime? AKA, do you gain additional supporters during the offseason? Do sponsors continue to sponsor during the offseason?

It's been a while, but if I remember correctly...

1. Yes, you have to continue to pay your coaches, players, and staff during the off-season. I believe that you can gain some supporters during the offseason. I do not believe there is any real benefit to firing all of your spokespersons during the off-season, because of the $1500 per head penalty you pay to do so.

2. Sponsor and supporter attitudes will reset during the offseason.

3. You continue to gain sponsor money during the offseason. This amount may drop a bit once the sponsor attitude resets, but it should not take long to get back to your previous level of sponsorship.

4. The off-season will probably cost you some money, without a home league match. However, you will gain $30 per supporter, as your supporter club all pay their annual dues. This money can help to offset the off-season expenses.

The 30 bucks per supporter is only like $21,000 for me.

Average cost per week is $75,000 or somewhere in there. That is $150,000 total.

Sponsors will probably be $60,000. Figure in $30,000 prize money. That is a combined $110,000, which means I will lose $40,000. Not good at all.

Can anyone of the vets elaborate on what else happens during the offseason ?

I believe that is the 1st for many of us...
