Best Training for Keepers

Keepers get training from both General and Goalkeeping.
Is there an advantage or disadvantage to either?
If there isn't wouldn't the obvious choice be General because everyone has a chance of their form improving?

its alot lower of training when you train general.

Goalkeeping is way way better.

What about coaches..more GK coaches vs assistants ?

yeah tony.... we also have a goalie value thread on here somewhere so you can buy passables, train them 1 or 2 weeks into solids and sell them.

You can train more than this by buying keepers about to pop who have played in a game since the last training update. I once managed to have 4 goalies pop in one week, but it is very tricky and time-consuming.

Just as happened with my youth pull from last week, Hugo Frnaklin.

Bishop, btw he sold for 60 500 U$, not bad for an inadequate keeper. I know I could have had more by training him to passable in maybe a week, but I didn't want to lose one playmaking week...

By training him to passable you probably would have only earned 10-15k more. More than likely, the new owner will sell him this week as soon as training happens and after getting your 5% you will make about 62-63 thousand dollars. If you had trained him one week, he probably would have sold for about 85-90 thousand at this time of year, netting you less than 20 thousand dollars more. It's mutually beneficial, since you get to continue your training program and he gets 15-20 thousand without having to take up training spots.

I logged in today, and found a bidding war on my keeper I was selling for 65k Final price 122k which makes me happy :D

if a goalie has played a game for another team training anything but keeping or general, but is bought by a team training keeping, will the goalie benefit from the buying team's keeper training ?
