Chesapeake Cheapshots (71318) v. Colorado Bulls

Chesapeake Cheapshots host Colorado Bulls
for all the marbles in league V.142
QuikSand's Cheapshots carry an unsullied 13-0 record into this final league match, and are on target for autopromotion... but there's still quite a lot in the balance here. The Colorado Bulls, after losing to the Cheapshots in the league opener, have since reeled off 12 straight wins, and stand strong in second place on the league table with 36 points. The Bulls have managed a more potent offense than the Cheapshots, and therefore have a considerable advantage in goals on the season-- meaning that a Bulls win here makes them the league champions.
The two teams have absolutely dominated the league all season, but the tide is possibly turning on the mighty Cheapshots. After a season of good fortune avoiding injuries, they have come down with no fewer than four serious injuries which will sideline at least three regular starters from this match. Coupled with the Bulls' recent dominating efforts, this sets up as a great clash for the league's two standout sides.
