2 FOF members, 1 promotion spot: Who is going to get it?

I figured anyone looking for a great game with a big fof influence in this final week can look at V.193. My team, the Blade Bombers, are currently sitting tied with heavyreign's boys. My team is behind in the goal race though as i like to play a strong defensive game. Neither of us, even though i dont like to say it, are the best team in the division. Sitting in 3rd are the TSU Texans. These boys score goals non-stop, and worked the division all year long. They were #1 with a 3 point lead over the reign, my bombers, and current #4 millard. I took them on with a mots hoping for a miracle and got one. I won 4-3 with their shot in the 90th hitting the cross bar. they then lost to millard due to a low ts after the mots against me. This is how the league looks right now:

In this last week, the reign take on TSU who worked them back in week 1. The score was 3-1, but it was not close at all. If Heavyreign's boys win, the get their shot at promotion...they lose and i get the shot. Im taking on the charles, and should pull an easy PIC win. Just thought i would share this with the fof community, as it apears to be the only division with 2 FOF guys battling for promotion. Wish me luck, or at least Heavyreign no luck;) .

The funny thing is that the Reign will probably MOTS to try and win, then get screwed in the qual match if he wins due to TS.

Then again, if he loses and you PIC win, you should have a decent shot, since you will be able to MOTS the qual match.

Worst case scenario......all of you are stuck in the same division again next year.

Just found it funny, as i learned if the winner gets a tad bit better goal differential, they would be playing DKs boys...not sound like a fun match to me

I think either of us would be looking at a tough match for a qualifier. Most of the teams in the range where we will be playing seem capable of putting up match ratings in the low 60's. Blade and I have both topped out at 53 this season.

Half-time update:

TSU is up 3-2 with 56% possession. The funny thing is that their owner had sent me a message saying he would likely PIC and play backups since there was no way he could win the series. It is pretty obvious that he did neither. I am actually happy about that though since I would rather have my team earn the victory in a situation like this. I had two starters out with red cards going into the game so this looks like an uphill battle in the second half.

Can't exactly say im sad your losing...im easily taking care of fighting charles with most of my B-team in...I sent TSU some mail over the season, and he said he was going all out on you...he wants the money for #2(or #1 if i somehow lose)....it looks like it should be 4-2, but you got lucky...damn;) ...come on TSU!!!!!

YES!!!!!!!!.....TSU goes to vicotry and i do as well...meaning the Blade Bombers get a qualification match!

I figured he was full of it in his mail so I still put the best lineup I could out there with a MOTS. It wasn't enough so you deserve to move on. TSU seems like a team that got a lucky draw when the started. He started with all 3 of his star forwards and rarely does anything on the transfer market. As a small consolation, I did manage to pick up the 10k for leading scorer. My guy finished tied with the guy from TSU but had to sit out the last match. I wonder if we both get 10k in a situation like this? It seems likely.
