As of 10:30 am central time, HatStats is working through the promotion/demotion table between divisions IV and V. Judging by the pace at which it is working, teams auto-promoting to Division IV should know their destinations in a few hours.

further edit: Oh, and by now many of you know my hatred of FD United. Read their latest press announcement. I *almost* wouldn't mind staying in this series and obliterating them for one more season. Almost.

On Hatstats Canada, as of 12:05 eastern, ETA of promotion table from V to IV is 14:45 :D

When you play a qualification game is it like the Cup where the home and away teams get spectator money. If it is you could just merely remind him that yes you didnt get auto-promotion, but you get an extra week of training, and some extra money. Oh and remind him who won the when it mattered.

Oh and glory thanks to the hattrick gods the team that is coming down from D4 into my division will be a bot team/brand spankin new owner. I may just have a chance next season. :D :D :D

The two teams in a qualification match split the ticket revenue, 50/50.

Hmm Vince, this was as of last week, after 13 weeks. The final promotion table still isn't available... That would have been cool though...

now a little less than 7% to go in Canada, ETA 14:51

USA was at 38% at 14:15, ETA is now set for 18:41. They are gaining 7% per hour... :D

Parting is such sweet sorrow, but don't let door hit your ass on the way out. Hopefully we can adios FD next season and then I'll be in the clear. That D IV team looks much worse than you on paper. The only thing that'll suck is the fact that the rest of the division is a bunch of deaf mutes.

I will be going to IV.18, the 22nd ranked IV league in Canada in week 14. Not bad. There should be plenty of challenge for my team in there. The good news is that the other promoted team to that league is a bot!!! This means that, unless they get replaced before the beginning of the new season, I will play a bot in my first game in that new league. PIC in round one of the cup, PIC in game one of league play, PIC again in round two of cup and I should have a pretty good team spirit for a few weeks of league play :)

Here are the ratings posted by the teams in IV.18 in week 14:
64 (promoted to III, but replaced by a very similar 64)

41 (demoted, replaced by my team with 53)
38 (demoted, replaced by bot team with 25 :eek: )

I have not looked at anything else about my new league. Having played in a bot league for the last 14 weeks, you can be certain I'll scout that new league from every possible angles :)

Moving up to IV.5; and after a quick check no FOFCers are moving up there with me, and none are ther. Appears to be a pretty average Div IV i would gues- I might acctually be able to not auto-demote next season.

MISFC have promoted to IV.6

There are no existing or prospetive FOFC'ers in this division.

The division avg NSI was 58.8 for the last match of the season.

The demoting D.III team is computer controlled. :)

1 of the relegation matches will be very even and one will be lopsided (d.IV favored).

2. Fluffinators (2nd) 58.2 avgNSI 28.5 staravg 3-5-2
3. FC de Cumberland (3rd) 61.1 NSI 29.0 star 3-4-3

5. Frothingham (5th) 60.7 NSI 28.7 star 3-5-2 should win be back
6. SD Strikers (6th) 58.3 NSI 28.7 star 3-5-2 might be back

I think we are very evenly matched. It feels good knowing I just need to beat 1 team to get a relegation match. In the end I think we can be competitive. I think we are capable of putting 60+ in a regular week. There will be no MOTS or PIC at all this year. I just want to stay in IV.

After further examination, the Mudpuppies look like an inactive team, so I should have a reasonable shot to promote. If I make it in, it looks like I'll be solidly in the bottom half of the series, but it's a bottom half that anyone could win. Also would make a 3 FOFC team series.

As for the "least to be envied award":

cthomer's North Plainfield Plague get to play for a spot in IV.18 - rated the strongest in Div IV this week.

No one wants any part of DataKing's IV.49, evidently.

In fact, FOFC as a whole seems to be doing a decent job of avoiding the booby prize of auto-promotion to a hellish series. No one in the top 10 at all, the worst I found was IV.10, rated 14th strongest in Division IV, which will welcome vexroid's NE Oklahoma Sidekicks and robbgmaier's goldurnears as autopromotees next season.

Good, I'm glad I wasn't just reacting like a baby when checking my prospective new series out. I don't think I'm going to make it though, 2 of my starters will be out due to red cards, and 1 due to injury. I'm now forced to play a 4-5-1 witha defensive minded coach. I either need a 1-0 win or penalty shots or something...

I'm not even sure I want to win at this point, but I vow to try my best.
