I jsut went into my team and changed my training from Playmaking to Stamina. I had expect it to say;
Playmaking (changing to Stamina)
but instead it jsut switched right to Stamina.
My question is, on Thursday when my team updates are my guys going to recieve Playmaking training or Stamina training?

Just change it back if that's not what you want for this week!!

Whatever you have declared at the time of training (Thursday evenings) is what you will train for that week. You can change it just a minute before training takes place if you like.
Kind of unrealistic, I know, but that's the way it works.

I find that funny since it would make more sense for you to have to pick a training method between the Thursday update and your Sunday match and then get stuck with it.
Here's what I mean. Let's say I train passing but in my league game a IMF goes down hurt and gets subbed out. He's healthy enough to recieve training but not to finish the game. I realize that I have jsut recieved training for 4 IMF instead of 3 so I change my training to playmaking to take advantage.
Seems a little silly to me.
Anyways, I switched it back and will make the change to stamina on Friday

would this be considered week 14 training? or Offseason week 1 training?

Technically week 15 -- the "offseason" is split between the two seasons
Week 19.15 -- Last league game / cup finals week
Week 19.16 -- Qualifiers / friendlies week
Week 20.1 -- Age day / 1st cup games week
Week 20.2 -- 1st league game / 2nd cup games week

Actually this week would be considered Week 14 training, since the week begins and ends on Saturday, with the financial update and new youth pulls.
Actually, now that I think about it, I guess it would depend on what you consider to be "week 1." Is it the week of the 1st round cup match, or the week of the 1st league match of the season?

DK, I'd say that the game relates week 1 to the week with first league game of the season. See in the fixtures list for your league. I see it as you said. The week starts and ends on Saturday, the Sunday night game being the first event of the week...

If I train General to improve form over the offseason do my guys need to play in the friendly or will everyone be considered?

Players need to participate in a match for General training to have any effect. The only two types of training that do not require a player to participate in a match that week are stamina and set pieces.

thanks, I thought so but I've read conflicting things for General.

All the details regarding training are in the rules section.
About Hattrick -> Rules -> 16. Training

It seems kinda silly for the first cup match of the new season to actually occur in the previous season, hence I've seen many more senior hattrickers consider the first cup match week, week one. YMMV.

I actually consider the "off-season" to be a separate entity, rather than a portion of the season prior. But that's just me.
Whatever it takes to keep it all straight in your own head, I guess.
