I'm glad to see that a number of the South American countries are growing. The game is too Europe-heavy as it is (no doubt a result of more readily-available internet access).

Do teams from Israel and Egypt play international friendlies?

Would they be called "friendlies?" Would the Egyptian wingbacks be wearing explosives?

Might want to consult Prof. Apoc on this one, but I'm pretty sure that's against the rules. ;)
Still... with new countries, do the early applicants get in at Div. I, or is it totally random?

I'd assume the rules wouldn't be any different than with an established country: only the bottom 2 divisions can be filled (in their case II and III). That would mean that their highest division would be fully populated by bots for the first season.

That would make sense. That way, only the cream rises to the top.

hey I never thought about this. Even more, it would take two complete seasons to fill in the top league, as only 4 new teams at the most can promote from II to I...

I think they might need a few more hamsters to get the electricity running first. :)

So is anyone gonna try to run for nat or U20 coach for one of the new leagues? I figure I'll give it a try.

Dola dead serious. I'm gonna try to get one of the jobs in Lithuania or Ukraina. Then I'm gonna shock the world when I start to upset Sweden and everyone else. Plus I'm really gonna try to help the new teams out. As soon as they get a conference folder.
Prof Apoc says no team for you :p outside of where you currently reside that is. Besides new countries no longer get boosted starts so they get crappy players and 500 fan club. The only advantage would be a lack oof competition really.

apoc, does the rule of filling up the bottom two levels also applies to new country? See discussion above...

Wonder when nat conferences for the new leagues come out? Gotta help them new guys and get me a nat coach selection. ;) And even if I don't win I'll still know that I'm not going to hell cause I helped new people out on an internet game. ;)
Frogman: Yes teams are only given out in the lowest 2 div in a country and all these countries started out with 3 div as far as I know. So it wont be till their third season that it would even be possible for the top league to have 8 real managers.

If anyone is going to win in a new country, I've noticed that it's been previous HT owners that switched countries or someone who is high up in division in a powerful country.

but if you help them... they will remember that. Stay active on a conf and you will win...
