Hey fellers, I;ve got a query, and let me say thanks in advance for any help on this subject and for all the advice I've already harvested second-hand from this forum.

My quandry is this: I have ~$300K in debt, and I have a keeper that I'd like to sell to erase as much of this debt as I possibly can. I would like to know when y'all think th ebest time to sell would be.

The player in question:

Rufus Houser (13293624)
18 years, passable form, healthy

A sympathetic guy who is tranquil and honest.
Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities.

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 314 000 US$
Wage: 1 940 US$/week
Owner: Hobo Chunks

Stamina: disastrous Goaltending: solid
Playmaking: disastrous Passing: disastrous
Winger: disastrous Defending: disastrous
Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: disastrous

Rufus was pulled two weeks ago, and popped to solid last week. I've heard people saying that the new season will bring about a seller's market, but I'm wondering when exactly is the definition of the new season, and when I could reap the most money from a sale?

Some wrinkles: I have no quallifying match, so my offseason will mostly consist of collecting more debt, and I will only be able to train one keeper/week. I pulled another passable keeper last week, so my gut instinct is that I should sell Rufus as quickly as possible so I can train my other keeper during the offseason friendlies....unless of course it turns out that I I would lose a lot of income by not waiting until the new season starts off. How much should I expect to net from the sale if I sell him now?

At the end of this week, I'll be exactly $273,114 in the red, so I think I could last the 4-5 weeks it would take to get Rufus to pop to excellent (is that a proper estimate for a 19yr old with a solid coach?), but I'm not exactly sure if that would be worth the wait, since I'd lose the two weeks of off-season training for my other keeper, and I;d be at the end of my rope financially by then.

Additionally, I was wondering if any of you day-traders had any advice on the specific day and time (as listed on the HT site) to make the inital transfer offering. Is it best to have the bids end on the weekend, or during the day? Should I list him at a time that is friendlier to other countries outside the US?

Again, all advice much appreciated.

Put him on sale now for $250K. If someone bites, then that's good for you. If not you would have just lost $1K for putting him on sale (not a big deal).

Thanks for whacking me in the head with the obvious answer, I was too busy meticulously wadding up these panties to think beyond doomsday scenarios.:)

20-22 HT time appears to be the time when most people are online and is often referred as best for end-time on transfers. it has worked for me.
