Galesburg vs Glottingham.

The good. Glottinham has 2 injured players, 1 of which MAY be bruised for gametime, the other is definatly out. Plus their set pieces / team captain is red carded for this match.

The eh. We had a bad form week, but everyone is healthy, and aside from Tommy Joe Poulin (who popped to excellent PM, but is in weak form still), in playable form. He's the only starter sitting, but his backup is a 3* middie as well.

The ugly. The players Glottingham CAN field are in hellacious form. I saw way too many excellent/solid forms. Luckily, they have exactly 1 3* player out there, in excellent form.

I can do this.

I had one player pop and well, form really doesnt matter since I dont have a match that counts until Season 20.

*sigh* Not much is going right for me pre-qualifier at this point. Two starters went up in form, 2 went down. One went down to weak which gets him sitting the pine. The two that went up in form are injured. Between the draw a few weeks back that put me in position of having to play a qualifying match, and everything thats happened since I clinched the series title I'm getting the impression the HT-Gods are trying to send me a message. "Your not ready to promote quite yet.."

While I agree with them, I would have liked to see how I fared against a IV opponent without having the deck stacked against me. :(

Well, off to the pub to have a few guiness with my two star players who will be sitting the match out due to injuries and drunkenly bemoan the fact how life isn't fair. ;)

p.s. Its free pretzel night all this week at the pub built into the Dog Pound Arena... with the bartenders being told first drink is free for any other HT GM who wishes to drown their sorrows involving this years HT season.

Fabulous form week at the right time...

4 starters (including my 2 middies going from poor to weak) up, 1 (my keeper) down. And since I'm training keepers, and my backup is in solid form, he can get the call. 10-0 is not out of the question with a MOTS. :D

I have as many starters above inadequate form as I do at poor form (3). Hopefully this means they'll all be in good form for the first 7-8 weeks of next season, a necessity considering how solid the new division will be.

My leading IM popped to excellent last week, which was not too surprising since I thought he was close, but he is pretty old, maybe I should sell him :D

One of my trainees popped to passable, so everyone is ethier low or middle.

I don't think I could've asked for a better training week, especially with a qualification match upcoming. I had two IM's pop, one to passable and the other to solid. I also had six starters improve in form, with only one starter dropping (and he dropped to passable). I'll have one starter at inadequate form, with everyone else in passable or better form. I had four other bench players improve their form, with only two pine-riders dropping.

This helps to make up for my last three weeks' worth of training, which could best be described by the phrase "kick in the teeth." Good timing indeed!

pretty eventful training update in Pintendre.

3 playmaking pops.
one 17 y.o. trainee popped to solid playmaking
my hole plugger 20 y.o. inner mid popped to passable
a defender popped to weak playmaking :)

Funny enough, that 20yo didn't play this week and he had only played once, at winger, in the last 5 weeks. He was most certainly very close to popping for some time...

9 players increased in form (3 starters)
8 players decreased in form (2 starters)

We will switch to stamina for at least a week. Form drop will determine if the second week will be stamina or set pieces...

Mine sucked, a lot of value increases

2 neg form drops, 3 pos form increases (And they were ones that wont play).

grrr......What a dark ending to my season.

Although, I just bought a solid winger for 31K, he is old, but I need him to round off my team.

The bot team I play will be dealing with a straight 2* + team playing in MOTS. I think I can ring up 10 points on them.

Hornsjo should pop to solid by next week. Benedit is still 3-4 weeks away from solid. Hornsjo should be able to dominate a div. VI in his current form.
