Any plans to continue our fantasy football tradition?

Shouldn't we start drafting in time?

Last year's teams were:

I have no idea who were the non-FOFCers, though, if I recall correctly, most were French contacts from Alf and two of them were part of the league in 2001 as well. Wasn't GeG commish in 2002?

Darkiller and Chief Rum were in in 2001, but were not in 2002.

It seems NFL.com has gone to pay fantasy leagues, so we once again need a new website.
I tried signing up with my still existing username and found out it costs $15 (pay by credit card) to join now and likely $20 to join in August.

I think the 3 french guys would still be interested, just like me. However, I don't want to be part of a "pay" league. If anyone knows where we can play for free.

ESPN seems to have free fantasy football hosting. League also seems configurable !!! Yipee ! More to come soon (give me 30 minutes)

Options are :

- league size (I'd like to keep it at 12)
- number of playoff teams (I like 6 with 2 teams having byes => more teams involved late in the season)
- number of divisions (2*6 teams or 3*4 teams).
- number of starters per position. number of bench players. I'd go with the standard 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1PK, 1D/ST. + 8 bench slots, or a more open style 1QB, 1PK, 1D/ST + flex positions at RB/WR/TE. I like 1RB + 1TE + 3 of RB/WR/TE (3RB max, 3 WR max, 2 TE max)
- scoring options (no bonus for big yardage TDs)
- the draft (live - not an option for me, predraft list - can suck, import draft - yes I prefer this one, use myfantasyleague.com to draft and then the commish does the import league)

Of course, the Maassluis Anglers will be back this year to retain our title of 2001.

Concidering the draft order,what is more to everyones likes, ranndom or some sort of order based on last year's draft order or final standings?
I still hwant to figure otu the final standings from last year, as I didn't save them on the pc's I internet on.
I will do a search on the old FOF Board, in the hope to find the final standings of last year.


BTW, my internet connection is terrible at the moment, it takes about 1 minute for the text I type to show up, so if I have some typos in this post, you know what the reason is...
