For all you gamers out there. I stopped by my local gaming store to see if the D20 modern is worth the purchase as well as looking at some of the new stategy games to hit the market.
Anyway, I noticed Cthulu was bought by Wizards of The Coast. When the hell did this happen, and why the hell. It's another perfectly good game that is going to get ruined.

d20 Cthulu has been out for a couple years now.
And by the way, d20 modern is a VERY good buy. A lot of the problems I have with D&D 3rd are addressed.
Me and a friend have been converting d20M rules to a medieval time period for use as well. The system is just a lot more realistic & condusive to a low-magic campaign (which we prefer).

Shows how often I go into the games shop then. I just hate what WOTC does to some games.
Cool on the D20 modern. Sad thing is, If I buy the games it's all for online PBEM play, because I don't have a table top group around.

I still play via IRC with a couple good friends / former tabletop group. All my old tabletop gang has long spread to the corners of the country.
