Cup matches have started in Canada, and while both the Pittbulls and Bbors are leading their match, Les Joujoux are in trouble, at least for now... Here are the scores as of now:
Pintendre Pittbulls (108238) up 2-0 after 17
Bbors (29830) up 1-0 after 17
Les Joujoux (72681) down 0-1 after 19
Walk-In Special (72396) tied 0-0 after 19
I'm trying to get the Machine's score, but HT is amazingly slow...

That was when I destroyed ardent's Raiders 7-0, remember that? :D
Seriously, it probably won't be until week 2 of the season. Week 1 is against a new owner that got his team on July 16, logged in twice on the 17th and never after that...

Quick update live from Pintendre, the Pittbulls won, 5-0 over the Alberta Diggers. While the Diggers are another one of those teams owned my certain Mr. Bot, they did put some pretty good rating, look at this:

Also, their average NSI rating of the last three matches of last season was only 27...
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the experience at work. Their keeper is valued at 180k, his current form is excellent and he has inadequate experience. This leads me to believe that them bots team won't be as easy to beat as they were in the past, simply because of the experience factor introduced in HT 6.5...
BTW, here's the ratings my team put up today.

While I won my Cup game 5-0 with a PIC, the team that finished #1 in my series last season seems to have thrown his match, playing no starters and likely PICing on his way to a 2-0 loss to a bot team. Why? I'd suspect to get ready to MOTS me next week being teams 1 and 2 play to open the season.
All I can say is that I will be ready for him and will remain STILL UNDEFEATED!!! (for 10 games in a row anyway).
Also, I found my ratings were none to bad for a PIC:

Remember not to get overly excited about high NSIs...they're just rating inflation from the experience factor, and pretty much everyone is getting them.

I won 1-0 over a bot team, and I got about 83% possession. I generated around 5 chances and could only hit one. and I lost my top defender.

I won 7-0 while PIC'ng, but only got a weak midfield. Was expecting an inadequate. I'm gonna need at least a passable on Sunday to win.
1-0 against a human team....PIC'ed.....but ratings were low ..perhaps because of lack of experience?
I actually had my lowest NSI in a bit (57), even if it was a 6-0 PIC win.
