so, for clarification...

do you mean...what percentage of all "physical" money is printed on paper (as opposed to coins)?
is this by volume? weight? value?

or, do you mean what percentage of wealth is in printed, paper form?

is this US only?

Sorry, let me clarify. What percentage of money is printed on paper in the US. And it isnt a fraction :D

I assume they mean the actuall printing

like the total number of coins and bills. how many are bills.

25% is my guess

10%

Edit: That's probabaly too high. I'll change my guess to 2%...

I was right! Actually more right than 2/3 because 66.6% does a better job showing the satanic/illuminati connections to all of this.

But he said that the answer wasn't a fraction!

I think that he meant that he was just waiting for someone to answer 2/3 (because that's the answer to all number questions here)...

"So there are twice as many bills as coins???? Hmmmmm. Don't know about that one."

The question said MONEY, not pieces, so it would take a pocketful of coins to make $5, but only one bill. You see more coins, but they are not much in the way of actual $$$.

I would take this statement to mean total number of bills versus coin, not total values of bills versus coin....

JeeberD: that is what I assumed the question was asking.

Sorry, that was actually a response to thealmighty. I think he misunderstood the question...

0% -- US bills are printed on cotton and linen, not wood pulp. :p
