Though the team was a little shaky in the early part of the first half, two hattricks and a few more goals later proved that the defense can still pitch a shutout and that WoM can still come out on top. One of the hattricks came from the golden boot winner of last season, Leo Steiner. WoM is looking forward to their new season in series V.122



You beat a fucking bot team 8-0 at home. The other team got a 29 NSI. He got an exc/sol/sol defense. Hell I got an exc/exc/form defense PIC road win against a bot team in the cup. I have no problem with you winning, but don't release a Press announcement when you beat a freaking bot team. Granted, this release isn't that bad yet, but you're a newly promoted team, give it some time.

Makes me want to further upgrade my offense so I can trash this team.

It's always laughable when your hear somebody taunt others after they have won by a good score against nobodies. As if the Cardinals got all proud after winning against a semi-pro team...

Well, maybe the semi-pro team would win, who knows :D

I have to agree with Ronnie.

If you treat this like a real life press anouncement then the comments are perfectly acceptable. Who isn't going to mention an 8-0 win? I'll usually mention something from each game even if no one in my league gives a damn what I post.

I really don't think that people outside of the FOFC really understand our sickness. Perhaps we should create an educational video called "Dealing with FOFCers."

This video would enlighten people on our inability to resist creating dynasty reports and realistic sports management situations. It's not our fault that we feel the need to put up press announcements on regular occassions. We were just born that way.

If that doesn't work, I'd just throw him a bottle of prozac with a side of bacon and tell him to chill the f*ck out.

What? You mean people are not all like my friends around here? People don't refuse to go to bed until season 2007 is over and until they know if, yes or no, their 2006 number 1 pick overall, fictitious QB Freddie Garner will lead his Cardinals to the Super Bowl, after throwing 34 TDs, gaining 3885 yards through the air, rushing for another 393? You mean not all people do that?

JV states himself: This Wed, marks the end of an era, an era when our team was dominated by youth and inexperience. Our imbarrassing loss this past Sunday made my decision very clear, Witches are wise people who fall short with inexperience. Starting Wed, because of a youth sale, we will show our true colours. Beware v.253 the Witches are here to reek havoc on our series. Mark my words, we will win v.253 this season and be in division IV in 2 seasons.

now i like the owner of this team, we talk alot so i don't think he meant any offense by it. But that sure is so serious trash talking.

Havok, this many not help, but I don't think the Witches will last very long if/when they make it to D4. He's mortgaged his future by selling all of his young players and replacing them with untrainable guys.

As of right now, he has 7 players under 20, and TEN over 26. He's more likely to get out of D5 than say you or I this season, but he's got nothing working in his favor when he gets there :D
