I've got a very interesting game next week. Its against a first place divison V team that doesn't really login anymore.

He runs a standard 4-4-2 and puts up really good offensive and defensive ratings. But his midfield rating is always wretched.

Blu and Yello
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: wretched - (2)
Right Side Defence: excellent - (8)
Central Defence: brilliant - (11)
Left Side Defence: formidable - (9)
Right Side Attack: excellent - (8)
Central Attack: passable - (6)
Left Side Attack: solid - (7)

NSI - 55

Now i can play my back-ups, PIC and win on sunday because i play a BOT team. So i'll have POE TS and if my starters form is good i should get these ratings.

Maniacal Misfitz
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: weak
Right Side Defence: solid
Central Defence: solid
Left Side Defence: solid
Right Side Attack: Excellent
Central Attack: passable/Solid
Left Side Attack: Solid/excellent

Now if my goalie's form goes up to passable i might have a excellent defensive rating or 2. Also, This guys starting right wingback just went down for 4 weeks and the replacement isn't very good. So i can attack the hell out of his right side.

My question to you guys is, since his team is better in almost every category except midfield. Should i try to win the midfield by as much as possible and play a winger towards the middle?? i don't wanna MOTS and ruin my great TS on a cup game so that is out of the question.

If you put up 2 levels in the midfield I *think* you should win.

Of course, as you and I know, that is not always the case.

very true GE.

Im hoping with POE TS and a winger towards the middle i can get a inadequate midfield. Man its hard having all new trainee's for midfielders!! =)

But that guys defense is gonan be seriouly tough to crack. Even with his injuried wingback.

His Defense put up the same numbers as mine, and hey I got scored on three times.

lol true. But that was a serious fluke.

anyway, i'd like to hear anyone's ideas/comments on my upcoming game. I really need money to upgrade my stadium to 23k seats and 1 more home game in the cup will help out alot.

My defense is better than his, and although he has better attack ratings you should kick the crap out of him due to his not-being-as- good-as-meness

Well, I have an interesting choice here.

I am sitting at POE in Team Spirit. Our series has 3 top teams in it. Myself, Ajax, and TCB. I play Ajax this Sunday, then TCB the week after.

I am going into Ajax game with high team spirit.

I just found out my opponent for the cup. I would love to make it to round 4.

Now here is the deal. I am thinking playing normal against Ajax, Then MOTS against this Div IV team I play in the cup. That way I make it to the next round. Just to do it.

My opponent is
Rabid Wombats
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: poor
Right Side Defence: formidable
Central Defence: brilliant
Left Side Defence: outstanding
Right Side Attack: passable
Central Attack: poor
Left Side Attack: inadequate

Now I have to say, he has one hell of a defense. His offense and Midfield suck ass. I post those stats with my B Teamers, and I am all solids and excellents if I MOTS and have my A team in decent form. I think I can pull the upset and take him. However, IF I can get a decent pull on Saturday, It may help me out more financially to buy someone better to help me against him.

I don't know, should I attempt to ruin this guys cup and make it to Round 4? Or Should I focus on my series?

Thanks for the input

I wouldn't MOTS if you can get an inadequate midfield at home. He won't really be able to score on you, and that way you don't waste your TS for the next month +.
