When are we upgrading? I found out that the (currently removed) Utopia style is compatible only with 3.0, and that is why it always looked like junk here.
What are the major differences between the current version and 3.0?

I really couldn't tell you. It will probably be a subtle change.

In my Tiger Woods dynasty I have lots of color coding so that writing it is a pain. Ryan said I would "LOVE" vb3.0, but did not specify. I assume it streamlines all the coding. At least, I hope it does.
right now we have...
v 2.2.9

vBulletin 3 is still in Beta, so I will probably not upgrade until the release candidate is available. The beta seems pretty stable, but I don't want to take a chance on a site like this.

vBulletin 3 can pretty much eliminate the need for coding. :)

I just noticed it. You posted it at 2am, and bumped it at 3am British time, so I was not around to see it.
I am at work right now, which means that I will probably not be able to access AIM until this evening.

Dola.
Come to think of it, what the hell are you doing up at this time? Early morning or late night? (I think I know the answer....)

It's 5:37 AM right now. Massive JBL talks with Marmel, Chief, and a bunch of BS with Smoot.
Also, made a style set, started another, and shopped around for nice vB addons.
That is why I contact you. :)
Goin' to bed though. I'll be on in like, 8 or 9 hours, whenever the hell time that is for you. :)

We use the beta version of vB 3 over at FOBL and it is a huge improvement (on a great product). One drawback of upgrading to beta is that any hacks you may have might not be ready until final release.
Ryan is wise to wait, but it will be well worth it once he does the install...

Beta 5 is coming out Monday, fwiw. It *should* be the last beta before RC1.

Will the current style set be compatible with it? I heart The Sideline style.
