I just picked up the following pla yer on the waiver wire:

Darren Looney (14714640)
17 years, inadequate form, healthy
A pleasant guy who is calm and honest.
Has disastrous experience and disastrous leadership abilities.

Speciality: Powerful

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 16 000 US$
Wage: 580 US$/week
Owner: Htuifoda
Warnings: 0

Stamina: poor Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: wretched Passing: weak
Winger: inadequate Defending: inadequate
Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: inadequate

I want to play him now to replace this guy:

Ron Lutz (12044779)
26 years, weak form, healthy
A sympathetic guy who is fiery and upright.
Has poor experience and weak leadership abilities.

Speciality: Technical

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 51 000 US$
Wage: 940 US$/week
Owner: Htuifoda
Warnings: 1

Stamina: excellent Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: poor
Winger: weak Defending: passable
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: inadequate

But the 17 year old above has terrible stamina. Should I stay with my veteran until the stamina has raised to atleast passable, or just send him in there and weather the fire?

I assume you are training defending. If that is correct and you have an opening in your training squad, leave the 17 year old there until his stamina gets up some. There is a tired defender event that can lead to giving up a goal.

If you aren't training defending, sell the 17 year old and buy a 20 something with the same stats or better for a much cheaper price.

If the weather is rainy, play the kid. If it's sunny, play the old guy.

If you play the kid (wing back?), play him defensively.

The stamina will not hurt performance but, like, The Afoci said, you can give up a 'tired' event goal.
