Who's watching?

Kansas City vs. Green Bay

I know it is just preseason, but I am pumped that good ol American football is back.

Who is going to win? Pick the score if you don't mind, let's have some fun.

I hate exhibition football. I just can't get into watching a bunch of guys who will wind up playing in Europe or Arena ball next year. I can't wait till the first college games later this month.

The irony of that statement seems high to me.

Fritz, you have godlike prediction skills. However, if I had bet on that, I would have gotten my money back. Apparently, it was not long enough to be an official game by betting standards.

All Bets Are Off
According to the Mirage Casino, Las Vegas casinos only recognize NFL games that go at least 55 minutes.

As a result, Monday's Packers-Chiefs Hall of Fame game, which was called in the third quarter because of lightning and a storm, was not an "official game," according to bookmakers.

The Mirage has indicated that bettors will receive their money back.

Wow. Laying money down on a pre-season game is die hard. I ever do that, get me to my Gambler-a-holic meeting ASAP.

Who cares? Only people who are so addicted to gambling that they already bought up all the scratch off tickets at the local gas stations and liquor stores and need something else to put money on bet on preseason football.

Believe it or not, several handicappers actually make more money in the preseason than in the regular season games. Count me in as one of the masses that had their money refunded due to lightning. ( I had KC -2 FWIW)
