I ask this question because I have an outside shot at winning both my league and cup game for the upcoming week. I know I am MOTS'ing the league and PIC'ing the cup.

Since my TS will drop after the league game, should I just play my reserves in the cup? I got a decent/winnable (in relation to my opponent) NSI with my starters at satisfied TS. I assume after the MOTS, my team spirit should be around composed or maybe irritated. I could probably pull anywhere from a 50-55 depending on how form and other things change tomorrow. I think I got around a 46-48 NSI with my reserves last game they played.

So is it worth a missed week of training for my middies to shoot for another round in the cup (and another lucrative home game), or just let the guys train? My main trainee is a first teamer anyway, so I really don't care, and my 2 trainee outside mids (wing) put up the same # of stars as my starters. Its not like I've made a lot of bank off training guys.

A week of training IS a sacred cow...you only get 16 weeks total.....

I pulled a week of training this week.

My cup game looked tough, and I didnt want to put my trainee midfield out there for the game, so I looked for an alternative. Both of my keepers were in good form, and they're both high passable. So, I punted the playmaking training for a week, had both of my keepers start a game, and switched my training to goalkeeping for the week.

With a victory in the cup, and an even harder foe upcoming, I might have to do the same thing next week.

NEVER sacrifice training.
