View Full Version : Training Intensity Question

I just hired a couple more physhiotherapists to get to 3, because my finances are reasonable enough for the moment to be able to afford them. I then increased my training % to 95.

Currently it says "changing to 95%" on my training screen. Will that go into effect for tonight's training, or will I have to wait for next week?

I believe it will not be in effect for tonight's training, but I'm not certain about that.

Also, I would recommend changing your training to 100% with three physio's. I know the common rule of thumb is 1 physio for every percent over 90, but I've got 3 physio's and I'm training at 100% with little to no difference in the amount of injuries.

Get your intensity up to 100% ASAP -- it helps greatly with form. My average team form never goes below passable now whereas it was more like inadequate when I had my intensity set to 95%.

I have to say, I have yet to experience a lot of injuries with one physio and 100% training, I bumped mine up though as one of my better defenders was dinged for 5 weeks this past match.

I trained at 100% with three physios for a long time. It's all I could afford when I first started, and I never thought about hiring more once I could afford them.

I'm 100% with 3 physios.

Gee, I'm at 100% with 8 physios, and have had 4 injuries in 3 games. Then again, I'm the foci for crap luck in HT. . .

Injuries are very random, so it can be hard to see the effect of having more physios when comparing only a few teams.

However, I have heard that the number of physios may decrease the severity of injuries when they happen (i.e. you get a 3 week instead of a 6 week injury). I am not sure if it is true or not though.

I train 100% with 4 physios and 2 doctors (hmm, sounds a bit like real life).

I've had some "bad" injuries keeping a guy out for 5 weeks, but most of my injuries (in HT, NOT real life) average 1-3 weeks. In my cup match yesterday I had 2 injuries, the most I've had in awhile, each 1 week injuries...

100% with 10 physios here... I rarely get injuries now.

...and yes your training increase will take place NEXT week and not this one.

I am in the same boat...8 physios at 100% and lately it seems like I have been averaging 1 injury per game. I think injuries are more or less luck, with the physios helping a little. I will continue to keep 8 because any help I can get is well worth the money.

Thanks for the advice guys!

I ended up unexpectedly selling a 21 YO inad keeper (youth pull) for over 42K in profit just now, so I elected to go to 5 physiotherapists, and up it to 100%. I do love the newbies. :)

That guy was only 1-2 weeks away from popping.

I remember reading this from TP6 a while agod and I immediately switched to 100% and 3 physios. I also have 2 doctors on staff most of the time, as I usually always have one player who's nicked. Most of the injuries I've had were for 1 week or less (injured but training) and sometimes they even gave me the chance to train 7 inner mids + 4 wingers in a week :)

And how was that? If a player comes out and is replaced, the player who comes in gets the training.

Nope, as soon as a player steps on the field, he gets training. No matter if he ends the game on the field or not. So as long as your injured player is at least "injured but training" by the time the training update happens, he will get his training. That's what I was told. Same for a player that was sent away with a red card, he gets is training.

What happens with injured players is that most of the time, the player is injured with "+2" which means he won't even train, but if your fortunate enough that the injury is not bad enough, then he will train...

Nope, I had a player do that... he was +2 and went to +1 2 days later, but did not get training that week. I was under the impression he would as well, but ask ravenhawk... I put him out for sale and he never turned. ravenhawk tried to buy him...

I thought wrong, you're right. At least Hattrix says you're right, Hattrick says nothing about it.

This is correct.
