You have to fill out a survey and give a (junk) email address. I got this last year and am still receiving the magazine.

Edit: I really need to learn how to type. :(

the junk email address is important. I did this sort of thing with SI and unwisely gave them my real email address. Since then I have been getting over 50 spam mails a day.

I love offers like these. I now get more magazines than I could ever read in a month... :)

junk email address = yahoo email address

I haven't checked that thing in months.

Thanks Bee. I love SN, but it is too pricey to keep a subscription.

I've got a whole pile of these freebies too, including the Sporting News. My wife's to blame, she seems to sign us up for every offer that comes in, sometimes my name, sometimes hers, sometimes one of the cats. Apparently one of my cats (Haggis) is an avid cyclist as he seems to have got onto all those mailing lists. Haggis even got his first phonecall.

I bet the postman hates us.

Did you put that cat on the phone?

Edit: Or even better did you tell him that Haggis has been bad and is locked up in the closet right now. :D

I just use my home address as the company address. Some people make one up and then have magazines shipped to their home address to avoid getting junk mail. I haven't had a problem with excessive junk mail other than credit card offers which I was getting before I started getting the free magazines a couple years ago.

I know. These canucks are absurd. I mean they already get free defense from us. Now they want our free magazines. What else can they ask for? :D

I wish I could of remembered that. Seinfeld is my all time fave. I didn't think up anything clever. Just put "Rogers".

What do you mean free defense? I had to buy my slingshot myself. ;)

Thank you, TSN is the only non-gaming mag worth subscribing to, imo.

BTW, one of my cats is named Bengal, it wasn't just one of my random Bengals obsessions (then again, naming a cat Bengal is probably one in itself)
