Can anyone point me to some sort of table or chart that says what the concensus weeks to pop for trainees of various ages at each position are?
Or does such a thing not exist? If not, could someone at least indicate how long it generally takes for a 17yo to pop in scoring?
Thanks!

~on a side note do younger players say 17 or 18 pop faster since i believe older players degrade?

yes- It is said that for each year above 17 you add a week to pop, so say a 17 year old defender takes 8 weeks to pop (i think that is the right #) an 18 year old defender would take 9 weeks to pop, and so on.

Your coach and your training percentage also factor in.
For exapmle, I have a passable coach, training at 95 percent.
It takes a 17 year old 9 weeks to pop in my system. Add 1 for age above that.
So you just have to figure it up on your own. Do research.
On a side, defending I believe trains slower than everything.

ok and would you suggest trainging a skill all season or change them around every week, or is it just relitive to when you players pop?

your best bet is the Hattricks site (note the "s" at the end)

It's under Files, training (duh!)
What they got there is pretty extensive. The usual theory is a said number of week for a 17yo trained at 100% with a solid coach and 8 or 9 assistant coaches. Any year older than 17 add one week to that number, same thing for any level under solid that your coach is.

Edit: ouch, "their" <> "there" :)
