Never mind. I will be available on AIM: CambridgeForever (or other IM's ask me for them) and also in Manager Chat on CM4 if folks have problems/questions/trash talk ;)

OK. we will have 16 teams in Div 3: What I propose is a Div 3 Preseason Cup:

Teams will be divided into 4 groups of 4, where they play each other ONCE

Top team from each group plays a knockout stage (4 teams, 2 rounds)

Winning team gets the envy of the other 15 ;)

It's tough for Cambridge right now, no transfer fundage, a 500K loan, and my top player's worth 95K :)

I quit for the night, my cable provider likes to randomly stop the internet every hour or so, so it blinks in and out from times. It seems I am automatically signed out from the game.

No problem:

I'll run the server till everybody's off.. then if anyone else wants to get on, I can load it up.

Monday at 6:45 PM I'll start it up, let everybody connect, and then we'll start around 7.

Ron said he'd get us a messageboard so we don't spam FOFC with this.. also.. if you have AIM, maybe it'd be best if we set up a chat room in AIM, instead of using manager chat

Hey, I hope this won't matter, but I am out. Over the next few weeks, my nights are going to be extremely busy, so my CM time will be cut. I hope this doesn't hurt anything.

Preseason Tourney: The FOFC Cup

Assuming we have up to 12 for the first session, we will have four groups of 3, in a mini tournament. Each team will play each other team once (so one away game and one home game)

1v3
3v2
2v1

3 points for a win, 1 for a draw

Ties are broken in the following manner

1) Head to Head
2) Goal Differential
3) Goals Scored
4) Coin Flip

The winner of each group advances to a 4-team knockout stage semi final and final.

If we can get more then 12, we will invite additional non league teams to make it to 16, and there wil be four group stages held at four different locations. First to request a group stage be held will get it. The winner of each group stage advances to the knockout.
