i don't think there's anyway you'll get 100k for an inad keeper. Usually passables go for around that price

I know how it feels to have somebody, only to have it taken away at the last moment. I guess the Hattrick gods were smiling upon thee.

McSweeny, I was gonna say the exact same thing. Maybe a very high inadequate who hase already played in the week could go for about 50k, but never up to 100k...

I agree that you got a good deal, I just looked at your team and 179k for a solid keeper seems like a good deal to me...

Starting high with an inad keeper would be like 35k.

Don't mean to threadjack, but I didn't think this guy was really new thread worthy.
Ronnie Pettersson
80 000 US$, 21 years, passable form
Has poor experience and solid leadership abilities
Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: inadequate
Winger: inadequate Defending: passable
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: wretched
Just added this guy for $80k, might have overpayed a bit, but he's a 2.5* guy with solid leadership and fills a BIG whole in my defense.

This guy managed to pick up his 3rd yellow already and will be sitting out our next match. Luckily its against the worst team in our series.

solid leadership is fine & dandy if his agreeability is high. If not, then it's just a good way to make sure your team never keeps a decent TS

I agree completely with DMB and I just checked about Ronnie Petterson, he is controversial. In his case, his solid leadership will only mean trouble to your team, the_herd. You will probably have problems keeping a high TS, unless you already have a sympathetic or popular guy with a higher solid leadership, which is difficult to prove...

Clowns are overrated. The team leader doesn't really affect your team spirit that much. I had a solid/nasty for five seasons and didn't notice my TS suffering compared to teams that have clowns. I also had a solid/pleasent, but still that's no where near clown-like status.

Another newbie question. Which of these two guys on my team would be considered the team leader? They have the highest leadership on the team? Thanks!

Has wretched experience and solid leadership abilities [Head]
Stamina: passable Keeper: wretched
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: poor
Winger: wretched Defending: weak

Korey Renteria

Your best player for team captain is based on a experience/leadership formula I believe.
I would say Ewing would make your best captain.

I'm not sure but I don't think antbacker is asking who would be the best captain as much as who would be the team leader. The captain as some effect in games, to make sure your team doesn't suffer from confusion. The team leader has some influence on team spirit (although TP6 doesn't think it has that much effect :p)
antbacker, if those two are the only solid leadership players on your team, the only way to know which one is the team leader, you'd have to detect some sort of movement (negative or positive) on your team spirit. There is no known way of telling which solid is better among the two. If one of them is nasty and the other is popular, then if you have problem keeping your TS high, then it's because the nasty one has a higher solid than the other, and the opposite if you are able to keep a high TS for longer period of times...

Korey Renteria is sympathetic and Ewing is pleasant

Sorry, I meant team leader and not captain. The reason I asked was I am getting rid of Ewing, but wondered if my TS would fall as a result. But it looks like they are pretty similar, so I shouldn't worry about it too much.
