70 and 75 NSI in D V. Geesh. Pulling a 75 in V and losing. This is from v.4, the hardest series ranked on Hattrick. Thankfully my series, ranked 8, is no where near pulling those kind of numbers. Two others in the v.4 pulled 60 or higher. Crazy stuff. I know there's a few teams in V that pull higher than that, but to have that even spread across the series is nuts.

V.4 is a really tough division. I know pajama boys promoted from there an I think they are doing well in IV.

What sucks the most is that they will beat each other up and force a qualifier for the Division winner. That division winner may then beat a good DIV team and the league stays difficult. If they could get autopromotions for their league winner they could have an easier time promoting in the future.

However, you guys have to remember that a 70 NSI is roughly equal to a 63-65 last year before the experience changes.

My next cup opponent hails from V.4. He's decent with a 60 NSI in his last match (even with a poor midfield). It also seems he's capable of pulling an inad midfield. Seeing as the highest my scrubs have pulled is passable, I think it would be wise to play some starters in this match. I plan on throwing in my starting keeper, my winger and my top forward. I've been burned for underestimating cup opponents before, so I'm hoping this will be enough.

My series is up to number 4 now, great. If I'm fortunate enough to win it and promote, I should be able to survive at least one year in D4.

my series dropped to number 8 (i think) overall this week. Best team put up a 70 NSI. Looks like i'll just be shooting for 2nd place and hope he promotes out and never comes back
