On Sunday we notch our first series points of the season with a dramatic 2-1 win. Wednesday in the Cup we fight to an extremely tough 1-0 loss in a match we had no business even being in. Our supporters have gone from ''delirious" to "irritated" after our valient effort.

Cut me some slack, you ungrateful bastards!

I lost 7-0 and the supporters stayed at delirious, guess it pays to be in D.V still.

Yeah, I lost (albeit in a friendly) and I *gained* 12 supporters. No complaints here;)

A friendly will have no effect upon the number of supporters you pick up or loose. It all depends upon the league game you played that week.

I, too, have come to detest my supporters' lack of compassion. I mean, we went farther in the cup than I anticipated and played a very close home cup match, which we lost 1-0 to a superior opponent. Not only don't we gain any new supporters for playing a prestigious cup match, but we lost one? How is it that a cup match loss can result in less supporter growth than playing in a friendly? Shouldn't simply playing a cup match be a bigger deal than playing a friendly, regardless of whether youwin or lose? Seems to me that the HT devs still need to work on the supporter logic.

Dola-

I didn't see this before I posted. One question though, just so I'm clear on this: the supporters gained the day after league matches are affected by the league performance, but you're saying that the supporters gained the day after friendly matches are also affected by the previous league match?

bah you have not yet experience the true fickleness of supporters. After my 0-5 win over my cup opponent last night, I get treated with a message like this:

8/14/2003 1 supporters left the club.

Morons, my supporters are.

I would think the developers should really take a look at this though. In many ways this could be considered the best week in (my) team history. We won our first ever D4 match, and we got deeper in the cup than ever before (not to mention barely losing when we should have been crushed).

I don't see any real reason why i should have lost supporters.

edit: clarified a sentence or two.

I've lost 3 games in a row (albeit close with 2 on the road and no shutouts) and I'm still getting supporters (they're at delerious). However, I also have 10 spokesmen and that may have a lot to do with it.

Ah, I hadn't realized the friendlies didn't play any factor in supporters. Good to know. Though, even in my 3rd round cup loss (pretty ugly, it was a 7-1 slaughter), I still checked HT the next day and found I had 5 new supporters. Guess that's one of the perks of being in division V.

I don't see any real reason why i should have lost supporters.Yours is a D4 team and Thousand Islands are a D5 team. I agree with you that they're an insanely good D5 team (demoted D4 team, blah) and it's probably not fair but they're still technically a D5 team to the game. A D4 team losing to a D5 team is bound to lose supporters. Not to mention that you were shut out at home. Big killers.

PS - Don't forget to keep the head shrinkers and talking heads on hand to keep sponsors and confidence from going through the crapper.

No, surprisingly I didn't f#$k for the match where I lost but had good supporter gain. ;) Wonder if I could get more if I did...
On second thought, maybe that would give my loyal supporters the wrong idea.

As for the last surgery it was a little over a week ago, on Aug 6th, he went in expecting to clean up some scar tissue and repair/strengthen one tendon, but ended up having to completely re-tighten my ligaments (the surgery I had last year), completely replace one tendon, and repair another. Oh yeah, and he got rid of the scar tissue, too. Now for 10 weeks in a cast!!! Yippeee....

She is trying to lure us in for the sex, but all I want is the drugs. I hate when girls use me for sex as I use them for drugs.
